Free Agency 2019

Just really curious to see what we do now. That's a lot of holes to fill in one offseason, and we're already without a 2nd.

Backup QB, RB, 2 WR, C, G, DE (maybe), ILB (maybe), 1 or 2 OLB, FS
Wouldn’t consider FS a need as clark/elliot should be able to fill that, really hope we don’t overpay for a safety

Wow I have to say I'm most surprised by this one tsizz is my favorite raven ever. Super intrigued by us letting so many key pieces to the number 1 D walk. Do yall think we sign cj back?

Nope. I've thought for a while that the FO is actually going to try and build an offense. I do think we use some of the money on a FA S though.

facts lol MOVE HIM TO SAFETY AND LET HIN COMPETE WITH CLARK/ELLIOT
I don’t think this is a bad idea. Jimmy has ball skills and he is physical. I know people probably think this is ridiculous but he could be a very good safety. He’s still a top CB IMO so it’s a hard sell but it isn’t crazy

Being the number 1 defense came at the wrong time for us based on the players that are leaving. I'm excited to see the younger guys get more opportunities though to show what they can do.

yeah this is what im confused by - we only have 8 picks in the draft and even just in terms of volume we have a huge number of positions to fill out just to get to the 90 man roster

i have to think this is the ravens pivoting to an offensive focus because we're unlikely to build a better defence than last year with all these players leaving and no 2nd rounder and we literally cant not address WR from a pure numbers standpoint (and likely OLB and RB and QB too)

We should go full on offense. I think that may be the plan and try to see what we have with our young defensive guys like people have always asked us to do. Eric does like analytics so I could see this as a very realistic possibility

Eric must be mad at the league for not giving us as many comp picks as usual, so he's going to let everyone go and force the NFL to give us all the comp picks in 2020.

It's also tough because the best part of this draft class is seemingly on the defensive side of the ball, too. Tough spot to be in.

I know TJ isn’t the greatest player but he makes me laugh on Twitter.

word from the front office is its one of the overall deepest draft classes they've ever seen in terms of draftable players (at all positions) but it's particularly deep on day 2 - which interestingly is where the offensive strength of the draft might be

Been saying this, rather keep jimmt and move him to safety than overpay for honey badger or amos

Hearing everyone talk about how many holes there are... I think Eric has a Gruden like plan(a plan which looks to be coming together nicely btw) and we are gonna see lots of trade backs and get a shitload of resources for the 2020 draft.
