Our greatest success in our WR draft history has been torrey smith

let that sink in for a second. He's barely hanging on in the league at the age of 29

If Torrey Smith decided to retire today I dont think there would be many regrets. He was drafted by The Ravens in second round and became one of the better deep threats in the league after that. He also has two super rings that alot of better receivers than him dont have. Some dont even have one. I

Its funny. I mentioned us possibly drafting Mcsorely a while back because hed fit our team well and could possibly develop if we dont keep rg3. Cant hate the pick tbh. Im really starting to like this roster. Hopefully we get a udfa gem at IOL or ILB. I know well find one i just hope its at one of those 2 positions

In terms of capital spent that isn't surprising.

The Ravens generally have (smartly) not wasted picks trying to get great WRs when cheap veterans can get you close to it and you can use high draft picks on the young linemen and TEs to help them produce

Ok, I am not someone who has ever looked at film, but if we're talking an even more athletic version of Taysom Hill, I'm pumped about the pick. With the combination of Lamar, either or both of the newly added WRs and pretty much any of our RBs and TEs, it seems to me we could be the offensive version of organized chaos when Sorley is brought in. The possibilities to make life a living hell for a DC or, in any given play the opposing defense, seem endless.

If we want him to be taysom hill then he has to be someone we like as a special teamer also because otherwise we’d save a roster spot and use RGIII in stead

Mcsorley is a shit tier QB but a really explosive athlete. Sounds like they have taysom hill in mind for him, but mcsorley, who I don’t like as a qb at all, would probably be better at the taysom hill role than hill himself, he’s just more athletic

This is what Im thinking. I heard somewhere that teams asked him about his opinion on switching and believe it or not safety was one of the positions talked about. 100% athlete

As for shit tier you are way overstating. McSorley showed a lot of grit and determination and led a lot of comebacks. Not the prettiest passer but a great leader. You don't start 3 yrs in Happy Valley and be shit tier.

One thing i've noticed

we don't have a good eye for interior talent on the O line. It's something very noticeable. We consider guys like Alex Lewis Matt Skura and James hurst etc

our picks have been really meh as it pertain to interior O line for years

Absolutely true. Harbaugh did specifically mention STs with him. We also carried 3 QBs on the roster last year, though it sounds like he's only an emergency QB type. And it doesn't sound like we're going to make him do something as drastic as changing to WR, like we did Keenan Reynolds. It's a 6th, what the hell, is my thought. Not like we traded up or took him in the 4th. If he doesn't work out - well, a lot of 6th rounders don't.
Again, I don't know, but I am most definitely optimistic.

Lewis was a late 4th, skura and hurst undrafted, Siragusa blew out his knee, Robert Myers 5th (I think), eluemanor 5th ish idk. Point is that they are all late picks. There are busts and some serviceable picks. Can't really expect much more

How is Kelechi Osemele meh? I don’t even think we’ve invested picks in interior o line highly since KO.
