I wasn’t sure about Lawrence until this year, when he rolled tf over bama in the championship I was convinced. He really is special, like REALLY special, absolutely should have the same hype as Andrew luck coming out, as he’s the same type of perfect qb prospect. And tuas knee scares tf out of me and it’s a shame because I was extremely high on tua, but that knee gets scarier every other week when he comes up hobbling again.

If lamar is trash and we end up picking really high, I’m looking at either Justin Herbert for 2020, or trading back for a Kings ransom for Justin Herbert and giving ourselves all needed resources to trade up for Lawrence. Maybe after a fat trade back we have enough picks to build the OL, draft Henry Ruggs on day 2, and trade up to 1 the following year
I know Trevor also has a really good supporting cast, but I think Tua's supporting cast does him way more favors. All of those linemen? NFL players. His RBs? High round draft picks. WRs? Ruggs and Jerry are two of the top WRs in the country, he had Irv Smith Jr, second round draft pick. Best coach in the history of NCAA football?

Tua is a first rounder, but calling him an elite QB prospect is.... A lie. He's more on the Sam Darnold level imo.... And I'm note entirely convinced that he's as good as Sam. Trevor makes his teammates better. I think Tu'a is the first non-system QB in a long time. Hurst, McCarron, etc. All SUCKED. I think Tua without that cast would be a first rounder, but that cast is going to make him a #1 overall pick. He's not even the third best player on my board thus far for 2020.

So what you’re saying is... Tua is bamas Mark Sanchez...

Why didn't you like Lawrence HS tape?

Herbert is a senior, tua a junior and Lawrence a true sophomore. That means Herbert enters the 2020 draft, Tua and Fromm both juniors, also to get their money before the 2021 cba negotiations cause a stoppage or strike. Lawrence 2021

Lawrence has no 1st round talent around him? I'm not so sure about that. Higgins and Ross are 1st round talent wrs, travis etienne is a Heisman candidate and early round talent. They don't produce any nfl level OL, but their ol is ok for the ncaa level.

I'd say we give Lamar at least 2 seasons before we draft a new qb

I never said he didn’t. But I do think that Lawrence makes all those guys better. I don’t think Tua makes his guys better and I think Tuas supporting cast is a hell of a lot better. I’d much rather have Tuas supporting cast over Lawrence’s and I think Higgins is the only real superstud there.I think Tu’a, while a first round talent, has become overrated by virtue of who he plays for. I’d take Carson Wentz as a prospect over him easily. I’d take Baker, I’d probably take Darnold.

I agree. In 2021 if we suck we need to draft another QB and I sure as shit hope it’s Lawrence.

Sunshine has one big NOTHING on Tua.
He is also unsuccessfully attempting to compensate for ugly mug with that long blonde hair. Couldn't cut it as a surfer (all the girls laughed him out off the beach), so he switched to football, just forgot to take a haircut.
For some reason, he reminds me of the character Buffalo Bill in the movie The Silence of the Lambs....lol....but the dude can ball.

Spot on.. however, i thought sam darnold was trash in college. like i even though lamar was better despite his accuracy problems

Honestly I liked what I saw from Darnold last year. Most of the QBs exceeded expectations (Rosen was slightly handicapped by a awful teamand Lamar was pretty bad throwing but even better than expected running) and its part of why I wonder if we are going to have more starting QBs then starting jobs causing salaries to drop.

When you talking about salary dropping I just don't see it. Salary cap just keeps soaring and until this slows down...………… Tbh I cant blame nobody but the owners on it. They the ones okaying these deals and cuz of this I'm more on the side of the players moneywise when the next CBA is bargained.
