AS for this game it goes without saying

spare a thought for bradley bozeman...it's going to be a crap day for him.

Lamar probably understands that and he'll swivle and use donalds momentum against him.

yep he's going to have a rough time on monday - he's got to make enough plays - not expecting him to have a great time but he's got to do enough - these are the types of games he's here for - he cant be like james hurst against the chargers and basically be a turnstile for good defensive players into lamar jackson's lap

I wonder if we'll experiment with moving the pocket

i partly wonder if we isolate him in the zone-read and leave him unblocked - take away the advantage of his athleticism and make him make a decision - and any decision he makes is wrong as long as lamar reads it right - and if he doesnt make a decision then he's not a danger because he's being passive

would be dangerous because if you get it wrong it's possible for it to go so wrong but would be a good way of neutralising him especially in the running game

I want to say, "Ha, ha, ha." to any Ravens fan that was hating Lamar Jackson on this board before the season began. Your words of hatred shows and reveals your intelligence level.

All true Ravens fans should support the whole team during the season because their play dictates if they remain on the team.

my only problem with that would be what happened on that one play where Scarlett charged the handoff point and blew up the play immediately. If anyone can do that with some consistency its Donald

im not saying you do it every play lol - and in that situation i think jackson just made the wrong read - scarlett was bee-lining for him whatever, if he gives it then gus likely gets some yards even if its not a big gain

no no no. You leave him unblocked every play. That is the best gameplan

I saw a video on romans offense from SF

That’s exactly what Roman did to ndamakong suh when he was absolutely wrecking the run game in the first half, he was destroying the whole gameplan, Roman started leaving him unblocked(or essentially just bumped at the snap) and letting him penetrate wildly and blasting him out of the frame with pullers and TEs hitting him from the side.

He did a similar thing in the seahawks game against Clowney. We put him in a trap and got a TE that was in motion or a pulling guard to chip him while they had some momentum

Watching MNF and I can't wait for some sort of nonsensical or ridiculous analysis from booger mcfarland next week - probably something about marlon humphries having played well for the rams or something
Humphries... I can’t understand the sheer number of people who don’t realize his last name isn’t humphries
