2019 College Football

Joe Burrow is a scary dude! I hate that he is going to be playing for the fucking Bengals! But leave it to them to destroy this dude's chances at greatness. Thank God a team like NE doesn't get him.

Maybe they will be stupid enough to pass on him lol.

i mean he's clearly doing great - and mechanically he's pretty excellent - will be interested to see how he holds up on tape - especially the 2018 tape and how he's changed - dealing with poor protection or difficult situations - what can he do to defenders - how he reads the field etc.

but it would be wild as it stands for him not to be the #1 pick

Jerry Jones ready to offer Ed Orgeron a 10 year contract and Riley is hoping Jerry doesn't pull his offer.

i genuinely hate targeting as a rule on wrap-up type tackles - there's a difference between a malicious/dangerous hit and an attempted wrap-up that happens to contact the helmet

Clemson made me do that long time ago.

that targeting call has legitimately flipped the momentum of this game on its head - it turned a stop into 7 points (the ejected player's replacement got thrown at for the DPI that set up the td) and then with that momentum a 3 and out has now turned into another 7 on a long play

ridiculous that a ref's call can change a whole game like that

even if you're going to throw a 15 yard penalty on a play like that - why is that kid now being ejected because the qb braced for impact - you can penalise that stuff all you like in terms of teaching better tackle technique etc. but there is a difference between hitting a defenceless receiver in the head with a shoulder or helmet etc. and incidental contact to the head when wrapping in a tackle on a qb in the pocket when the qb braces for the hit...

the 2 situations are not equal yet both result in ejections and 15 yards and a 1st down...

there's so many things i hate about college football and targeting as a rule has always seemed unfair to me

even its name is stupid

The most absurd thing about it is that they watch the replay and still make a horrible call.

ooft another huge penalty against ohio - roughing the punter in that spot is huge

yet again they'd stopped clemson but cant get off the field and extend the clemson drive via penalty - will this one also end up in 7 points
