It cracks me up that dweebs think throwing for 5,000 yards and getting gaudy fantasy numbers is what makes a QB “good”. I don’t have a lot of time on my hands, but I like arguing about this with fat-couch QBs when I get the chance #petty

tell me about it. Seems to be a daily argument from non ravens fans

It’s always been that a balanced attack is the most efficient and successful. And it’s usually teams that are constantly playing from behind that lead in passing attempts/yards. Not that big of a surprise those teams missed the tournament.

Those teams mostly played from behind, thus playing prevent defenses which allowed them to rack up so many yards late. It's amazing how these passing yards numbers is all the rave and the media hypes it up so much when in the end it doesn't even matter if your not playing in January.

Also none of those teams had defenses ranked in the top 10, 3 of which were in the Top 20 but outside the top 10. Atlanta had the 23rd ranked defense and Tampa had the 29th ranked defense. If these teams had better defenses, they may have been playing this weekend.

While he got hurt this season, Stafford is the PERFECT example of this. Solid QB no doubt. Throws for 4,000+ yards every year, sure. NO PLAYOFF WINS.

If we lose Wink can we bring Rex Ryan home as DC?

That would be awesome.

Would love me some of that.

I was wondering about bringing back Marvin Lewis. At least we wouldn't be likely to lose him to a HC role.
I always figured that if Wink left, why not Rex? Like us Ravens fans, he has a hatred of Baker and I'm sure that outside of a Super Bowl win, nothing would satisfy him more than making Baker's life a living hell with our defense.

Gotta find pass rushers in the draft. I dont see how we can give top dollar to Ngakoue after we extend Stanley and tag/sign Judon, the upcoming open market for pass rushers is bare and Ngakoue is going to cash in big. We have a 5th year option on Humphrey too but the longer we wait the higher his pricetag goes, and I think Pierce leaves.
