The Ugly, the Ugly, and the Awful: Week 3 Edition

Oh, first one - sorry. I had Ramsey's pick in mind.
Wallace beat Ramsey on the inside but there was a safety on the other side so Flacco threw it behind Wallace, it would have been bad anyway but I don't think Ramsey baited.

Honestly I just want to know why we even have Wide Receivers. I've always been Flaccos biggest fan but I just don't have any excuses at this point. It's like he doesn't even know there is anyone on the field besides RBs and TEs

New England and Green Bay nearly lost today, nobody expected the Bears to beat PIT, and can anyone say they thought Oakland would/will lose to the Washington Redskins? Like, wow. I'm ready to throw my hands up with predictions lol. Teams have bad games and it's hard to predict what will happen. Good teams can lose and it's clear it's hard to say this is an indicator of the future or not yet. There's too much football left and not enough played. One thing is absolutely certain--we need to get better on offense and the defense needs to clean itself up.
Agreed on every single account. Brutal week predictions wise.

I think Ramsey baited that one hard. He had to know he had safety help over the top and played accordingly. He's a track star and incredible athlete, so I think he had to know he could have made up the difference.

He's been awful under pressure and when it hits him early it's even worse. He fails to wait for the play to develop and seems to just refuse to take a shot at an open man downfield. He gets aggressive at the worst times and moderate when the play opens up. I hate to say it but Joe just hasn't taken a jump, I don't even think he hit his prime and I don't think he ever will. I'm holding out hope that he can have a Carson Palmer like rejuvenation where it's never too late to put in your best work, but I'm just iffy on his future here if this type of play continues with him. This is nine games in a row he has throw an INT, that's terrible.

I don't know anymore. After watching Oakland, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and New England today, I have to say I think the age of easily predicting games is shaky this year. This year has been one of the wildest years I've ever seen in football with predictions. It's so hard to predict who will win lately. I never expected the Raiders to be in this situation tonight against Washington of all teams, and I also didn't expect the Texans to nearly beat the Patriots.

That's true!

Say what you want but I think there were some really positive points in this game. Seems like the Ravens always struggle against the Jaguars I don't know why any of us predict the Ravens every year. The team even lost to a worse Jaguars team in 2011 when the team looked at its best in awhile. (I actually think the 2011 squad was better than the 2012 squad that went on to the Super Bowl.)

1. Marlon Humphrey. Man this kid jumps off the screen and he is so young. If he gets beat he has the speed to catch up. He crushes people so they regret going up against him again. Him and Jimmy are going to be a special combo for the years to come.

2. Terrance West is a leader. You should never fumble the football but out of the entire team he seemed to be the only person who wanted to be there. He made some chunk plays and tried to wake the team up. Unfortunately it was too late. The offense needs that leader and Wallace has yet to act like it after he acted like it last season and said he would this season.

3. Raiders, Broncos, Texans, Steelers, and Dolphins all lost. Which means the team did not fall behind in the division race or the projected wildcard race.

I was shocked when Maclin signed, like, the arial game is not one of our strengths bro

At this point, I can't count on him to play well.

The thing is, we used to be able to count on him to at least show up. Yesterday he seemingly didn't.

In fairness, some of his good plays were nullified by penalties and Maclin should have caught that ball that was intercepted. But Joe isn't Joe anymore. I hope he can snap back and be Joe again, but he hasn't looked like joe in a long time. And it makes me sad because he was and is my favorite player. Idk why but he just doesn't seem comfortable anymore, and he needs to identify the problem and correct it. He needs to be the leader of this offense.

I'm glad the Baltimore Ravens got to catch up on sleep all Sunday morning to prepare for the Steelers game. Because they definitely were not awake.

Not much positive from this game but I really liked the way Humphrey played and I'd like to see him start over Carr next week.

We really need BWill back next week. Absolutely no push from the dline and Jax is not known for their oline. To all the naysayers who said this man got overpaid.....

Now to main crux...Flacco! How the hell can he be so inaccurate. Maybe being embarrassed by getting benched will light a fire under his ass.

Also what about Martyball. S.O.B. throwing 3 straight run and catch passes to Buck Allen in the 2 min drill. Buck Allen!! He's our gotoo. Maclin should be the #1 target but yet they was trying to forcefeed Wallace. Can we throw to the sticks please. Pretty please!

It might be time to bring out the Dean Pees thread too but I highly blame the offense more than the D but it was a simply pathetic performance on both sides of the ball.
