Signings, Cuts, Trades

I’m not certain and after signing Campbell I figured we would keep him, but idk man Judon rubs me the wrong way and I feel like Harbaugh might have an issue with the way he carries himself too, and decosta is clearly trying to get a lot of ammunition to pull something off. I think this goes beyond making a lot of picks and i think he’s trying to trade
it's quite possible he is trying to accumulate 2nd round picks for a trade up.

Its interesting how the Dline is shaping up now, we went for some major size and length in Brockers, Campbell and (attempted) JPP.

All versatile pieces. No longer have just Pierce and Williams who are just block eaters in the middle. Can move these guys all around and disguise pressure a lot more than we did last year.

WOW. Tom Brady actually leaving NE...

Which team do I hate next?
Well Colts, Bucs or Chargers.
Bears didn't sign Teddy yesterday, although I don't know if they have the cap space

I'm looking forward to seeing how Belichick does without Tb12 and vice-versa

I have a feeling that BB will be fine without Brady, but Brady is likely going to struggle depending on where he goes. His skills already seem to be diminishing so he better go to a well-rounded team that can run the ball if he still wants to have success.

trade judon..c;mon eric..that way if you pick murray you have 3 more chances to redeem yourself early.

I think some of it might come down to positional versatility. He's an absolute beast in the run game, but we have to consider also what this means for Williams. Williams was kicked from the NT spot for Pierce when both were on the field and this puts Williams back inside at the nose while having Campbell and Brockers as to players who can slide along the line, albeit more limited sliding for Brockers.
Yes. I think you're right. Thought the same after thinking on it more. He's a bit more of a Wormley upgrade. Good look Bird. Also glad to see what we get year two with Mack.

Back to Ravens related stuff...

I could see 1 trade up, but assuming our cap is pretty much depleted at this point, we have a lot of holes to fill still, so I can't see them giving up multiple picks, but I could be wrong.

Still need:
1-2 WR
1 TE
2 OL
1 OLB
2 ILB
1 DB

Would think a lower level signing could knock 1 or 2 of these off, but I wouldn't expect anything massive in regards to a move up.

oh, you're probably right and I'm still favoring a possible draft day trade down, but this year is feeling a bit different. I see Bynes and a draft pick taking care of the ILB and absolutely see us drafting a DB, OL, WR, TE (mid round) and OLB. Should be interesting what players are available around our picks, because players slide every year.

I'm not even sure a trade down makes sense unless it's accompanied by a trade up elsewhere. We're in kind of weird spot - plenty of holes to fill but also too good to have 12 spots filled by draft picks. I think we'll absolutely fill a couple more spots with some cheap vets (e.g. Bynes) so we're not too reliant on young guys. Need to get younger and faster but still can't completely put all of the eggs in that basket.

Really hope he takes Queen instead of Murray if he's going to go LB with our 1st round pick. I do wonder though if he's stockpiling all of these 2nd round picks to move up in the draft for someone else.

According to the RSR boards, it sounds like Hurst requested the trade. Obviously, that makes sense. Competing for snaps with 2 other really good TEs. Dude's gotta get his money and he's not going to get it by playing 2nd/3rd fiddle. Hate to lose him but happy there's a better opportunity ahead for him.
