Good one. I like brockers a lot.

Replaces wormley.

my question is this though. Rams had Donald, Brockers, Fowler etc

so what was their issue last year vs us?

remember the chris canty and marcus spears signings? at the time i remember everyone thought we upgraded the line. Spears was gone within a month. Canty was a solid player for us.

we have 3 30 year old +'s now


so far I'm lukewarm on this offseason. I don't think the pass rush is that improved. It'll be better but if you all think it's going to be top 5-10 in sacks and pressures ( without blitzing ) you're going to be dissapointed. We havent yet addressed this issue and I feel we've wasted valuable resources while we had far more glaring needs

Too many big players on the O line, including FB and TEs, ran them rugged. Lamar selling fakes and hitting everything in the zone.

I think some of it might come down to positional versatility. He's an absolute beast in the run game, but we have to consider also what this means for Williams. Williams was kicked from the NT spot for Pierce when both were on the field and this puts Williams back inside at the nose while having Campbell and Brockers as to players who can slide along the line, albeit more limited sliding for Brockers.

my gut tells me i'm not convinced that these moves were worth the cap. brockers is a solid starting DE/DT in this league
For me this is like chris canty 2.0.

EDC was serious about improving the Defensive line after we got gashed in the playoffs by run game. I can't say I blame him! It was disheartening to watch!

We’re going to blitz anyway, that’s our scheme, it’s what we do and it works, these moves will help our pass rush because it will make our blitz dangerous as hell

Been saying that for years. I don’t like his attitude and he is far too inconsistent

its more about everyone being certain he's about to be traded..

Obviously eric is pushing for a 2nd but my question is why is everyone so certain he's going to be traded?

I’m not certain and after signing Campbell I figured we would keep him, but idk man Judon rubs me the wrong way and I feel like Harbaugh might have an issue with the way he carries himself too, and decosta is clearly trying to get a lot of ammunition to pull something off. I think this goes beyond making a lot of picks and i think he’s trying to trade

Same. He kind of conducts himself like a merc and keeps the team at arms length, Earl Thomas does too but hes from another team and actually has an impact on the passing charts.

Id like to see Judon traded because his market value now exceeds his actual value.
