Im a big John Simpson fan.

@rossihunter2 Is there a X/Z receiver left on your board? The only guys I have with a draftable grade are AGG and Johnson.

Also f all teams who drafted 2 or more wrs.

Too much going on in this thread to wade through - what's the consensus on day 2? I'm pretty underwhelmed but the main guys I wanted are only there because you lot told me about them. Disappointed to not take Mims, and that Epenesa went 1 pick too soon. I don't know a thing about any of the players selected. Is the guard any kind of solution? Can that LB play on the edge? Still see holes on this roster.

been watching some more malik harrison

a lot more. To me he's a backup NFL player who'll stick around and bounce from team to team. Now that i've watched a lot more of him, he's a 4th round pick in my eyes and we reached slightly. He's a slightly less athletic but slightly less stupid version of kenneth murray

for me this is a typical ravens draft. we didn't draft any one with a ''gem'' ceiling but solid if unspectacular, potential contributers with Queen being the only one with pro bowl potential. Mazubiike might end up being very useful though

in a nutshell i dont have the same feeling i had when we drafted andews and orlando brown jr 2 years ago where i was like '' WE STOLE THESE GUYS'' and they'll be big for us

I’ve not come across O. betiku before... any quick scouting report for him and why you like him?

I had watched some of his a few moths back and looked to me like a player with good hands placement and some interesting moves but has obiously limited flexibility and will perhaps go undrafted. I'm not particularly high on him I just like him as a flier pick . Not in the same class of Garvin or Robinson at all.

And the raiders who drafted 3 (2 back to back)

Given the value the ravens FO seems to have put on speed I think Donovan Peoples-Jones makes the most sense

Failing that there’s Isaiah Hodgins who Id have rated high in the class if he ran in the 4.5s even

Or my 2nd highest remaining WR, Tyler Johnson

AGG also a nice option and I wonder if his combine time is slower because he didn’t have a big school type training program - looks to have enough juice on tape and has remarkable cuts for a man his size

Gabriel Davis is a more boom-bust option who I like quite a bit

If we’re looking for more track type speed then look no further than Darnell Mooney who’s legitimately fast and shows some nice releases and some nuance with routes - also a returner

There’s the really slow big guys like Collin Johnson and Jauan Jennings who just seem to have “the knack” but don’t have the measurables

After that you’re looking at guys like John hightower and Isaiah Coulter who have great measurables but potentially not much else

There’s interesting guys but there’s only 6 that stand out to me as potential rookie impact type players: DPJ, AGG, Tyler Johnson, Hodgins, Gabriel Davis, Mooney

That’s a reductive way of looking at Harrison - he’s so good coming downhill and has crazy length to help him out in zone - lacks some range but an absolute steal where we got him

Dobbins was disappointing positional value but the ravens clearly had a crazy high grade on him (they thought he’d go in the top 30)

Madubuike is one of my favourite players in the whole draft - love that pick

Malik Harrison not an edge rusher but adds a ton of physicality coming downhill and being a force player - sheds really well and is a problem for pulling guard to deal with - again despite getting queen earlier the value here at this pick was too good to pass up

Devin Duvernay has track speed, a ton of production out of the slot and hardly drops anything (think he only has something like 1 official drop in 4 seasons or something ridiculous I read)

Tyre Phillips feels like a bit of a reach to me but he’s a mammoth human with crazy length - lacks mobility and definitely projects inside to RG from LT but might be more of a developmental type player with some upside in our power/gap scheme

and NFL rotational player at best. It was an okay pick but guys like harrison are available in numbers every draft

the good thing about dobbins is that he has a good floor but his ceiling isn't much higher than his floor

I don’t always write off your analysis like a lot of others do, but this feels way off...

Slightly less athletic is inaccurate, he’s half the athlete Murray is, and slightly less stupid is inaccurate too, because Murray is about as sharp as a marble and Harrison was one of 3 LBs with first/second round iq and awareness and trigger speed, along with Queen and dye. Ravens got a steal with Harrison and imo the best pure mike in the class

His IQ is average but compared to murray anything is an improvement
