when the hell are the rams gonna reveal the new unis? every team but them revealed them by draft night. they must have had them ready to go until they saw the backlash about the logo and decided they have to drastically alter it

it would surprise me - i think you're really underestimating hollywood... duvernay's fast but hollywood's the kind of fast and sudden that makes defenders go funny - he's also much better at the LoS getting off press and using his releases

he also had to play at 157 last year because of the screws in his foot - he's probably gonna be 170-175 this year and as he has said himself - last year the aim was to catch the ball and get down - next year it'll be catch the ball and take it to the house much like it was at oklahoma for him

duvernay's more physical and has some similar tools but there's a reason duvernay is a 3rd rounder and hollywood was taken in round 1 despite being injured and having screws in his foot

There were also reasons why Mark Clayton and Perriman were first rounders while Derrick Mason, Boldin and SSS were not. I'm not predicting success off rounds.

Anyway a lot has to go right for Hollywood to reach his potential, first of all is staying healthy. I still stand by my prediction, Duvernay and Proche 1 and 2.

i just dont see it with either of proche or duvernay - they're nice pickups but as complementary players whereas hollywood brings to the table skills that no other ravens WR does

duvernay has long speed but not the suddenness in his breaks that you'd want, his route tree is very limited and he's (at least early on in his career) going to be limited to the slot and add some manufactured touches to get the ball to him in space - a really nice weapon to have but not someone to focus your offence around

proche has some short-area quickness but not the speed to challenge corners on the outside and has some route-running things to work out

hollywood is a dynamic threat who you can line up anywhere along the LoS and threatens the defence at every single level - he has elite long speed to threaten deep, elite short-area quickness to create space when he cuts and help him beat press with the quickness of his releases, he has a great understanding of how to beat coverage with his route and he demands extra attention even when he's not part of the play

i dont think a lot has to go right for hollywood to reach his potential - you say the first thing is to stay healthy - i say that's basically the only thing

for duvernay and proche to reach that type of ceiling a hell of a lot has to go right that we're not even really projecting right now

i just dont really understand what it is you see in proche and duvernay that suggests to you they might be better WRs than hollywood beyond their ability to stay healthy (which we havent even seen hollywood given the chance given that he's had screws in his foot since before we drafted him because of a lisfranc)

Proche's realistic ceiling for me is Emanuel Sanders

sanders was a lot quicker

i like proche and i think he's a dog fighting through contact but i honestly preferred campanaro as a prospect back in 2014 - i think proche's got some tools but i wonder about whether his short-area burst is enough to win consistently in the slot - he's going to have to become a master of those choice routes you can run out of the slot and get great chemistry with lamar

i think his ceiling is maybe someone like cole beasley

Thats fair. I'm not going to do an entire spiel because then its just my prediction vs someone elses prediction and talking in circles.

I think Hollywood brown is a better football player than tyreek hill.

I think there will be 0 difference in speed next year and brown is better in every other aspect. Im that fired up about him.

I would agree, the number 1 thing for Hollywood is health and agree it's really the only thing, because he already has the mindset. Duvernay at the worst will be a good slot with the ability to make plays from the boundary with some work on his route running. He won't have an immediate impact as a WR, but should as a KR/PR right away.
