Next Up: @ Eagles

Eagles did us no favours after having the Steelers on the ropes.
Watch them play us tough this week.

Outside of that general bad juju, this has to be a game where the offence looks to find some rhythm.
We beat the WFT last week and this is the thanks we get? NFC East team doing us no favors. If our pass-rush can get to Wentz early and often.......look out.

Their offensive line is banged up and just as bad as the Bengals offensive line. I don't see why our pass rush can't produce another 5 or more sacks in a game. We should win this game but we need to get back to what makes our offense so good, RUNNING. Lamar doesn't need to be throwing anywhere close to 40 times a game, need to limit it to under 30 passing attempts per game.

I am going to be interested in watching the "development" of our offense as it pertains to who we are asking to carry the ball early and whether our not we utilize our WR's on shorter routes. Lately, I have not been a fan of running into a defense that is trying it's hardest to have you run or sit on Lamar trying to get to the outside.

I'm so sorry, they are pathetic and that's a compliment. Where do you live?

They are all long time acquaintances and friends but yes, they are loud and obnoxious. Hearing them silenced and/or whining the whole time would be wonderful lol. I live in the Tampa Bay area but close to the Gulf.

so im guessing gilchrist gets elevated again this week for the 2nd time - clearly Colon-castillo is a guy we're planning on stashing on the 53 - i know they've thought highly of him - they talked about him as a udfa that they would have drafted (and they gave him a decent signing bonus for a udfa)

but given that he wasnt even active this week despite being elevated suggests to me he's not being thought of as an active at all yet

Yeah it seems other teams have been sniffing around and they didn't want to lose him. He's definitely a developmental guy who may get some run at some point, but there'd have to be injuries for that to be the case I'd think.

Curious to see what they do with the 53 after this week. Gilchrist is clearly going to have a role after playing 20+ snaps on D in his first game (and allowed Jimmy to stay at CB).

10 OL is tough to carry but we should be good for the time being. Gotta think maybe a guy like Jordan Richards is in danger now. Gilchrist is Richards with defensive ability. And with Chris Moore likely returning...

hopefully both out O and D are on next week. Like the Tampa area.

Yes the offense has to play better. The run game hasn't been as dominant as one might expect and the passing game is predictable-looking. We all know LJ has too up his game too. At least the Eagles have more injuries than a hospital.

Honestly we're in need of a mauler who can generate some push.

I honestly don't think this will be a close game. I believe the offense gets back on track. Now that means 31 points no turnovers. Defense eats Wentz alive. 31 - 10

Up to 7,500 fans can attend the Ravens-Eagles game on Sunday. Of course my last day in PA is Sunday and I fly back home to NC. I could have gone to the game... damn it.

I think Lamar will get somewhat back on track but I don’t think he’s close to his peak form, and I don’t believe in this OL right now and definitely not against phillys front. I think our defense is gonna kick the dogshit out of them and our offense is gonna have the occasional splash play against their trash secondary and we’re gonna best them fairly comfortably on the backs of our defense and a couple of chunk plays getting us on the board a few times

I think they have hopes that he can develop into that type of guy, but I don't think he's there yet. He's a bigger C but I remember watching him and you could see that there was some bad weight in the midsection and not much anchor in the legs. He's definitely got that mean streak though, so I'm sure they'd love to have him in the weight room for a year.

Anyone agree with me that the browns might be better than the steelers? For some reason I just have a feeling the steelers are big time pretenders. I'm not sure why, but just what I'm feeling at this point in the season.

The Steelers have a great defense, but I would say that the Browns have more talent overall on their roster and are finally starting to show it in games. Also, I don't think any one of us knows how good the Steelers really are this year because they've had a cakewalk schedule so far. The Steelers offense doesn't really impress me much even with Big Ben back. Claypool could be good, but he's still a rookie and Juju hasn't done a whole lot which just continues to prove that he's not a true number one.
