I mean, yes, but that was also mostly from like a TD perspective.

First ten games Lamar averaged 226 passing yards and 78 rushing yards/game. Last five games he averaged 174 passing yards and 85 rushing yards/game.

The differences were a) Lamar's TDs went through the roof in the back half. He had 18 in his last five games, compared to 25 in his first ten, and he stopped turning the ball over.

Like realistically, he had a 3 week stretch where he wasn't good, which was weeks 3-5. That's when we got beat by KC and Cleveland and barely beat Pittsburgh. Starting with the next game against Cincinnati,, which was week 6, he was exceptional for pretty much every other game that year, save for maybe SF.

He had a 5 TD pass game in week 1, and even against Kyler in week 2, he had nearly 400 yards and 2 TDs.

Well Taysom Hill has a chance to live up to the hype of being better than Lamar. Hill starts over Winston on Sunday.

And I'm not even a Lamar fan boy like some people here I was accused last year of being too critical of him and a Flacco fan boy but Kyler is not better some people have seemed to forget how dominate Lamar was during that stretch last season like it was insane and now the bar is set way too high and everyone thinks the sky is falling

Lets be honest. Kyler is def better. I was even saying this a bit last year. I love lamar but putting him on same level as pat, russ and rodgers like many were doing last year kinda messed up peoples heads. He was never on their level.

i can say this though, even though they havent been outstanding... lamar in our last two games have looked great. If he continue that kind of improvement, with a little better play calling we should see a much better lamar in the passing game..

Can anyone explain to me how ZDS went from inconsistent pressure up the middle guy to an all pro edge rush season after leaving here, and how ngakoue went from a depleted defense in minn having 5 sacks in 6 games or whatever the stat was, to having 0 in 3 games on our defense? I know he’s gotten pressures, but I can not for the life of me understand what makes it so fucking difficult for any ravens pass rusher to actually get to the qb before the release, it’s like this organization has been cursed, pass rushers will be an inch shy of the sack no matter how great their rush is.

it’s getting exhausting. A lot of shit with this team is. I just can’t understand how so much talent just seems to not play that great here.

a couple of things - ZDS was always getting pressure here but we were always getting frustrated because it felt like he'd get into the backfield then comically slip or just miss the QB and allow him to extend so his ability to create pressure was never an issue - but he's finishing more effectively in Green Bay for sure

Ngakoue's 5 sacks for the Vikings need to be looked at in context because they were mostly all clean-up type plays or slow-developing sacks - he has been creating pressures since he was a Raven though - we'd obviously like to see more but it's hard when QBs don't hold the ball long - that's part of the reason why lots of players dont get as many sacks here especially since Wink started calling plays because the blitz packages either force the ball out quickly or they get a more free rusher that's probably a DB who can get there before any edge pressure

it does frustrate me that Bowser's snaps have been disappearing since Yannick arrived though

I watched this video and was like, damn they really did sell their soul for one world series title. Watson tearing his ACL one day after the World Series win in 2017? All the stuff with the Rockets GM and Chris Paul being traded, then blowing the 24-0 lead against KC, Hopkins being traded, etc. On top of that, the Houston Roughnecks of the XFL were 5-0 and then Corona shut down the XFL.

I'd say watch the video and a few others of his videos, all complete satire. It's not meant to be taken seriously lol, but it's kinda crazy when you think how much has happened to their sports teams following that WS win lol.

If I had to pick between Yannick and Judon right now, I am not sure I pick Yannick. The past few games Judon has made THE big play (or 2) on defense.
