I’m so fucking excited for Proche by the way

So who are we looking at for our starting WRs to begin the season? Sammy, Hollywood and Proche?
Probably. Unless Proche still plays behind Duvernay. Imagine we'll probably not run a lot of 3 wide sets out of the gate. Silver lining is it may "help us" later in the year. If we ran a lot of 2 wide, 2 TE sets (which we already do anyway) early in the season, and then Bateman comes back, you can run some pretty good combinations out of 3 wide sets later in the year that a lot of teams may not have film on us to defend.

Honestly, the Bateman injury is the only thing hurting the "depth" they're speaking of. Boykin may not have made the team or would have gone on IR and then been cut (I still think this is a possibility) if Bateman wasn't hurt.

probably sammy and hollywood with some proche at slot, some duvernay at z and a little bit of wallace at x (albeit probably mainly on running downs)

we'll likely see sammy and hollywood play at all 3 receiver spots and also a fair amount of 2 TE receiving sets too with andrews and oliver

in the past at least 1 of the WRs on the roster was earmarked for special teams and we dont really have a large special teams WR group at the moment - but all the DBs play special teams - the benefit is that we're keeping guys with talent and promise because they've also showed enough on special teams
I mean you would think either Duvernay and/or Proche are kick returners. Wallace would figure to be almost exclusively a ST player if he's active on gamedays as well. But yes, there's no Chris Moore this year.
Also may see less of somebody like Justice Hill on ST also, given he will get more snaps as an RB than expected

tylan might play a bit of special teams but he wasnt playing on any of the 1st team units

i do figure if tylan gets offensive snaps its going to be limited early as an x receiver or in-line receiver with a lot of snaps as a blocker in running downs (he's a pretty decent blocker)

Hollywood and Watkins is the best wr duo the ravens have had since 2014 and frankly it’s not close. I think we will be fine for the time being.

i think because people havent seen hollywood on the field for so long and because there've been no glowing practice reports (because he's not been practicing) that he's been bizarrely forgotten about

And then when Bateman does get back, you get so much versatility. All 3 of the top guys should be rotating inside and outside. We should be able to exploit matchups a lot more easily if all of them are in the fold at the same time.

Looking forward to his reminder to everyone.

and when you finally do add Bateman to that, you have a really impressive looking wr corps. The kind of group that could challenge our 2012 unit
