The Grit, The "C" Team and The Endless Bloody Injuries

Oof, man looking at it again I think Huntley should've moved on to his second read. I don't know if Hollywood was in his field of vision but he should be his 2nd read given the crossing pattern route. That one might be purely on Huntley there. I think he tried to force it to Andrews.

Why the hell is Bateman not used? Is it on him? Because to me he’s a hell of a player
Packers watched last weeks film, didn’t help them though. They took Rashod out of the game but Tyler still found the open guys.

Brown was wide open

A+ performance by our team. Very very proud of the grit and determination of this Ravens team.
Huntley will get us a 2nd rounder or good trade to a team needing a QB.
I would be shocked to see a team trade a second. I'd be surprised to see a team trade for him this year at all.

Even if someone did want a second for him, I'm pretty sure he's worth more than that to US. He gives us a chance every week even against Aaron Rodgers. I think we'll keep him.

THIS is why I "prefer" getting blown out than these close losses. We would've had this division almost wrapped up if these 3 losses went our way. Literally three better thrown balls separates us from 8-6 to 11-3.
No haven’t you heard, Ravens are lucky to have 8 wins

Honestly I was expecting us to run Latavius. He'd been effective all game, plus I'm fairly certain that wouldn't have been the expected play all from the Pack.

Greg Roman and his classic rollout play killed us. Brown was wide open.... this is what the passing game can be. Spread out the defense, let the defense choose who to cover and you can still have someone wide open. Terrible play call there, but most importantly.... SCREW ANALYTICS. Tucker is better than any analytics, go to OT there. Afraid of losing the toss? Ok fine but at least you still give your team a chance to win it especially with the defense doing it's job the last couple Packers drive. I mean we had no problem driving down the field on them, and we did exactly that against the Colts.... IN OVERTIME.

Ok without belaboring the point, we all learned something today. Green Bay is likely the best or second best team in the league and they BARELY beat a Lamar Jacksonless JV squad Ravens team. Our team will play everyone tough no matter what the circumstances are. I was ready to write off the season, but there's not one scary team in the entire NFL. If this team can just stabilize on the injury front for once this season, I believe we make the playoffs and are a tough fight for anyone.

Lamar and Roman can learn a lot from the success that Roman and Huntley have had together the last few weeks.

Props to Huntley and Mark Andrews.

I'm glad that Wink altered his gameplan, but it wasn't super effective. It's not his fault though. It could have been worse.

Roman has shown repeatedly no Pavlovian response to those roll out to the right plays. When have they ever worked? Why are they considered the money situation go to? We still saw receivers running into each other or in the same space at least twice. I just lose more and more faith in him each week.

I know there are big time proanalytics guys on this board and I know Harbs is too. But what we're seeing is Harbs put the trust in Roman and his guys and for a little while now both sides have failed him. Not sure how you can get better in terms of execution, but I know for damn sure not to run the roll out right or the QB draw up the middle.

i think it's a combination of things making harbs more aggressive in recent weeks
1) we've got such a banged up secondary that we cannot trust them to stop an offence with any sort of regularity so if you can take it out of their hands then greaet
2) he backs the offence to win it (to get 2 yards or to convert a 4th down etc.) - he'd rather put the ball in the QB's hands than in the defence's hands
3) punting has been very hit and miss this year - so not guaranteed to pin teams back anyway
4) with the depleted secondary, field goals arent doing us much good

it's making calls that ironically might have been tougher to make when we were healthier, really easy

i mean let's be real here - it wasnt going to overtime anyway

aaron rodgers with 40 seconds, a timeout and practice squad DBs to throw at...

and even if not - our defence wasnt stopping them scoring a TD in overtime anyway so we were at that point leaving it to a coin flip
Anything can happen tho man. Their special teams suck, and the kicker was having issues. Plus we had just stopped them on the previous drive. At some point you have to let the players decide who wins. If our D dindnt get it done, then so be it. They played their asses off with what they had to play with. Queen had a great night tackle wise. I think he had 12 or 13 tackles. I just think this particular gofer 2 was wrong.

idk that he's worth more than a 2nd round pick to us...
he's certainly worth more to us than to other teams right now but not team's giving us a 2nd round pick for him lol

if a team wants to give us the draft capital to add a legit talent then we're 100% getting rid of ty and working out who our next backup project is/signing a veteran
