Yeah, hyping Huntley at this time as a sure thing for another team is pretty ridiculous. But it’s also pretty ridiculous to discount what he accomplished regardless of the simplified approach. Dude has some big balls and showed poise and intelligence that you would not have expected out of a second year QB starting his second game.

I really hope Lamar is ready for the Cincy game. I know Tyler has done well but I have a bad feeling this would be the end of the road for that in Cincy.

Huntley’s coming back to earth party will happen soon, but I’m starting Huntley over a semi healthy Lamar. So much of what makes him great starts with his legs. If he can’t get a good push off that ankle he is a sitting duck. Fingers crossed Huntley can get a win to keep us in the playoff hunt

In this forum nobody confronted Tyler with Lamar, we argued, but only that.
I don't know why they get so passionate about it.
If you play lamar and win, recriminations will come, if you lose too, if you play huntley and win too, if you lose too.
whatever the result, discussions will come, hopefully they will come with the victory and the 1 place in the afc north

Again, It's a good game but people there's no need to pit him against Lamar. I liked how Huntley was decisive with his throws and made quick decisions. There are things that Lamar does at QB that not many guys in the league his age and experience do. For example, him looking off the safety and getting guys off spots is something that allows a guy like Marquise Brown to get open deep. There are people questioning if whether should even have Lamar back or ride it out with the hot hand in Huntley, that's ridiculous to me.

Again, Huntley played a good game but people act like they've never seen a backup play well before, even in spurts.

Who’s is attempting to pit Huntley to Lamar? I’ve certainly see the opposite , usually thats the Lamar or death enthusiasts attempting to discredit the recent successes. That being , the Offense has has performed better with Huntley than Lamar recently (which it has) with the same players. I still haven’t see anyone arguing Huntley should take his job. I think I’ve seen a couple post inquiring what Huntley could fetch on the market. But certainly no one talking about a first rounder. I think we all universally agree Huntley has been a great stop gap, but Lamar is clearly the future of this team. The only ones that seem conflicted are the oddly obsessive Lamar fanboys.

Still a bit early to gauge impacts. Vaccinated players who are asymptomatic can test-back-in within a 2-3 day period now, so much easier to return from.

The Covid situation is really starting to irk me. I know it's a business but I feel like the whole season is a sham when you have teams playing dudes that don't even belong in the NFL just to keep on schedule. I just feel like it isn't a good representation of how good a team actually is and it's not even their fault.

I mean same can be said for injuries. Show has to go on.
The new protocol changes should have expedite people getting back sooner.

The Bengals are cheating the testing , they have no Covid cases all year. Also, why the fuck do we have so many now that they changed the rules on only testing symptomatic vaccinated players ? I mean let’s be real here, everyone is going to lie and say they don’t have symptoms if they’re trying to play.
