(Never) Too Early Prospect Watch

Say we end up with a top10 or top12 pick, am I the only one who'd take Bradley Chubb before Arden Key? (this is just a debate between the two, not Nelson or whoever else).

Idk. Hes just a DB in my eyes. You can really have him do whatever you want. Id put him at safety for us but it depends who drafts him and what they need him for

From what I've seen he plays too close to the LoS to really be a FS and he certainly doesn't have the strength to be a SS, so he's a CB in my eyes.

That's all caused by injuries and/or freshman DBs.
He played corner, FS, SS, nickel at high level over the last 3 years and I can't really tell what is his best spot because he is really, really good at everything. Aces ST as well.
Scouts all over NFL and FOs will love his measurables - last spring he had sub 4.4 40 dash in front of NFL scouts and while still in high school, he was clocking 20-shuttle at 3.87 (only 6 players had better shuttle time at the combine since 2006).
Couple all that athleticism and talent with (everybody says) great football brain and you'd be pretty safe spending top pick on him unless there's really good QB you might need.

Any game in particular where I can see him play FS? That's what I want to evaluate from him.

Basically any game after Eddie Jackson's injury vs A&M in '16.
I think pro teams will mostly benefit playing him in heavy traffic though - he's got that ability to translate film to field and doesn't make any mental errors or ends up confused by lot of movement.

I would prefer him at 5T because he is just all man when he takes on blockers, so keeping him close and letting him engage and beat the shit out of guys and push the edge of the pocket, rather than send him on a wide edge rush where he has to eat up space, he's got good burst and closing speed but he's no Myles Garrett in that regard, I like him better when he's able to bully guys up close and personal, he disengages well and knifes the inside shoulder well too
