because as much as i love pat - i dont want to pay more than 4m/yr for a glorified fullback - he's great but also if a team's gonna give him juice type money or more (TE money) then id rather spend that elsewhere and continue to evolve this offenceJeremy Fowler said multiple teams see Project Pat as a "hybrid tight end" and said a team could try and lure him for a bigger receiving role. we're already paying 14.5m/yr for andrews and 6.5m/yr for boyle and were paying pat just under 4m/yr - if he wants the 5.5 that juice is getting (or more) then i think we have to move on
however what i will say is that seems very much like agent talk attempting to inflate his pricetag a little - it's hard to imagine ricard having more value elsewhere
