Yeah sorry. He is interesting though. The team wouldn't spend a lot of time with a major position change if they didn't even think we was PS level. Definitely think he is a PS candidate

Just an interesting guy because he’s bounced back and forth throughout his career. Not really sure what to make of him but seems like they feel he’s worth working with at least.
Honestly if we had to lose, and it was to joe flacco I wouldn’t be that mad lol. Love that guy - I hope we win in a shootout. Wish the game was in Baltimore

I understand why the FO did what they did. The defense needed OLB and had invested plenty of draft stock into the wr position. Let the young guys work. Bateman, Proche, Duv, Andrews, Likely and Dobbins should be enough for the pass game. 2 of those will command attention. It's up to that idiot Roman to get this thing rolling.

Linderbaum for sure for me.. it dnt even matter if he is a guaranteed probowler… id still rather take the risk with pickens
Ken gets weirdly hung up on random roster niches and then overvalues and exaggerates them all the time - he's been pondering this question with McKenzie since he first "changed" position last year
he's not making the roster - his snaps alone tell you that
Ken's a big over-reactor to preseason game action especially 2nd half play
I cringe every time I see "option value" in one of these reviews. Feel like he should know damn well by now they're taking the players they think are most likely to help them win. We've seen tons of guys with 3-4 years of control get cut in favor of a vet on a 1 year deal.
on a pure grading level (for the ravens) i had Hamilton, Ojabo and Pickens all ahead of Linderbaum and i only had travis jones like 5 players down from Linderbaum too
in terms of grading him more generally (rather than ravens specifically) i would have had Linderbaum as a top 15-20ish player in the class... i think his fit for other teams was probably better than it was here which is why he was a surprise to me when we picked him
for the ravens i probably would have taken pickens over linderbaum too as well as a bunch of other guys like jermaine johnson (who dropped for apparent character/meeting issues so i can understand passing on him), andrew booth Jr (who clearly had an issue with his medicals that we didnt know about so i can understand passing on him), david ojabo (who we took at 45 anyway lol)
not mad about linderbaum though even though he wouldnt have been my choice - just didnt see the fit but he's got special levels of mobility and leverage ability that are legitimately generational
i think people would be way less fixated on pickens if he hadnt gone to pittsburgh

ken's a "miss the forest for the trees" kind of guy sometimes
as you say, if there's a guy they think helps them win, they're going to do what they can to keep him over a guy who might help them save a roster spot at the backend of the roster or who might save them 1-2m
it's kind of why im not sold that powers is going anywhere - we're not in dire need of his 2m and he's clearly one of the top 8 if not top 5 OL on the team (let alone top 10), same deal with jawuan james and his 3m
i really enjoyed reading ken in the past but i guess ive just grown past his "charting" now that ive learned more about OL play in the last 3 years (mostly from college based scouting and actually watching/reading/learning from actual OL analysts/coaches/guys etc. lol) and now that i actually have access to the all-22 myself
I think Ken does some great work but the bias certainly seeps in. Things that he values often get those bump ups in the grades. I know all grading is subjective of course.
