The 2022 Offseason Thread

I just saw the td pass to bateman from lamar…. Cant really tell but what he looked like he actually did was look off from bateman knowing he was gonna there thr whole time but just waited on the right timing and for the defender to move just a little out of place.. if so, thats good improvement from him cause its been times in redzone where he would stare the guy down he wanted to go to and that shit would make me call him “ trash” lol.

There's nothing about Lamar that tells me he can't improve. He has a big arm and his mechanics aren't slow. Everything else comes down to repetition. I have seen him make almost every throw now. So it comes down to consistency

Not sure if it was posted yet but Jeff Z tweeted something positive about Marcus and expects him to be back for the Cardinals game. It was a reply on Twitter

can you post it? i cant find anything about it in his tweets/replies
my impression was though that he was expected to be ready before bowser and stanley who it's hoped will both be back before the end of the month

I saw it in a thumbnail of one of Ingraven’s videos. Can’t bring myself to watch it lol

Edit - guess Jeff meant after the Cards game

Idk if tee and dubb get all the credit.. bateman was a good route runner in college already.. im sure they helped improve more though.. if i see duv out there running great routes, tee and dubb are the goats
I was talking about all the UDFA guys. Like they weren't running garbage routes. Bridges sluggo was in particular really nice and then the other guys also found a way to get some separation.

But I agree, for the love of God Duvernay please actually improve and become a real receiver

Oh yea for sure.. those udfa looked pretty decent. You think bridges will make team?

Can I just say that once you are in the 20s especially 22nd, which is when the Ravens would get back from Arizona, you are no longer in "mid August"? That is decidedly late August.

So my guess is given that we just saw the Ravens make 2 cuts and a signing over this weekend, if they were gonna bring in a WR, I think they would have already done it.

So that means WR5 competition is Shemar, Victor, Moore, and Polk. Right now Shemar is out front, can he hold off these other guys is the question.

i still think we've got 2 weeks or so still where we can still reasonably make an external move at the position but if we get to the end of august without doing anything then i think ill finally believe that we're staying in-house with it lol

dont think ill believe it til then though

Are we potentially totally overlooking Isaiah McKenzie? Filmstudy gave him that really good grade and was saying his offense and defense versatility could be valued. I largely dismissed that but then Faalele was talking about McKenzie also being a mentor to him and then I had to ask. Should we be paying more attention to him?

Kahlil McKenzie? He's an intriguing player but I think the 2 way thing with him is gone. He's moved solely to the offensive side of the ball. Seems like another potential PS guy.
