He hasn't had enough opportunity with the Chiefs but at times looked more than decent. Might have looked better in Reid's offense than he is, though.
1. The ravens have a tendency to sign guys that beat them, Demarcus Robinson has given us trouble over the years, but that’s more to do with winks defense than anything

2. Not passing first round of cuts for a team that only has a WR1 and a slot specialist is alarming and speaks to your last point

Exactly my thoughts after seeing highlights of him beating us repeatedly and beating Marlo convincingly on a deep ball. We do have the tendency of signing Ravens beaters.

On the last point, it sounds like some of the young guys there have made an impression and they were going to move on anyways. They also signed Keelan Cole to a similar deal and that was pretty much direct competition for him. First round of cuts is more of the veteran favor to let him hit the market before a metric ton of other guys do. Definitely not saying we hit the lottery or anything but his being available now instead of in a week doesn’t really say much to me.

I really don't like this receiver room as a group.

Unless Likely is going to be used ala Aaron Hernandez where he is really a receiver out there. And even that is wishful thinking because he's a rookie and obviously Hernandez was that dude before....well you know

Is Darius Slayton still worth pursuing, and without Chuck Clark as part of the trade deal? I don't think trading Clark at this point would be worth it.

Honestly we really don't know how good this receiver core is. Not sure if there's enough evidence available to dislike or like this group of receivers unless we simply just don't like the unknown

I mean, some of these WRs we're healthy scratches during an injury riddled year. That's certainly evidence that they weren't plan A for the coaches.

I'm not sold on our wider receiver group whatsoever at the moment. I couldn't care any less about the yearly "hype" news coming out of training camps about this one doing this and that one will be that etc. My issue is that they are youngins. Unproven youngins at the moment.

That's understandable but in regards to someone like James Proche he simply was a healthy scratch cause he didn't add as much value to special teams like.others. The same players that were more likely to be active on game day over him are no longer apart of the team and The Ravens had the ability to either re-signed or keep them on team but they didn't.

I do find it interesting that every time Tee Martins brings up James Proche he basically states all Proche needs is more opportunities. He seems to be more critical of other receivers like Devin Duvernay

Rookie class looks so impressive so far and half haven’t even played yet.

Kyle Hamilton is probably the least impressive of the rookies so far but he hasn’t been bad by any means. You can see the skill.

Tyler Linderbaum hasn’t played yet.

David Ojabo hasn’t played yet.

Travis Jones has been an animal. Hopefully that injury is nothing too bad.

Daniel Faalele has been steadily improving.

Jalyn Armour-Davis hasn’t played yet.

Charlie Kolar hasn’t played yet.

Jordan Stout has a hell of a leg and some control to go with it.

Isaiah Likely has been a revelation.

Pepe Williams has been incredibly active so far.

Tyler Badie started to show some promise tonight with some really good vision and quickness.
