A version of the 2019 offense with another real threat at TE would be insane.

I made the joke/observation before about Likely playing a big roll as a receiving TE next to Andrews would be like Gronk and Aaron.

Likely reminds me a little of Jimmy Graham in a way

Thinking we'll never again see that level of run production from Lamar.

Do we have time tables for Proche, Wallace, and Linderbaum? Should hopefully be seeing Tyus and Stanley soon too.

proche was 1-2 week injury when he was pulled out about 10 days ago so should hopefully not be too far away
Tyus and Stanley should be back some time this week if they remain on schedule
Harbs said in his presser on Wednesday (or something like that) that Linderbaum would return to individual practice on Friday - idk if that actually happened on Friday or not but now that we're officially out of training camp we'll have to wait for the actual injury reports

no idea what the wallace timetable is

Some opinions that are usually met with some pushback.

There's too many good players on this roster to have 4 RBs and a FB.

Ross > Welch. ILB is so thin and I don't want to ever see Welch playing defense. Every time he does it's bad.

OLB before Ojabo comes back is so thin at the top and bottom that it may be the reason for losing games.

WR with Robinson is fine. Not great by any means but along with the TEs is good enough. Not the reason you'd lose games.

Regarding the RB numbers, it’s not really that hard. So many mechanisms to keep more than 53 guys that you plan on playing. We have a ton of vets that could go the PS route that we’ve seen the past 2 years.

How many elevations are allowed this year?

OLB is thin for sure - not really sure there's a solution here outside of hoping Bowser comes back healthy

would be great if Ross could push Welch but that role/battle (if it can/will ever be one) will be entirely about special teams and Ross is almost certainly going to make it through waivers and can be elevated if we get injuries etc.

after last year i just dont see them risking the RB health - they'll carry 4 RBs until 2 things happen: 1.) JK gets his legs back under him and 2.) we need the 53 man spot for someone coming off an injured list like Kolar

it's not flashy but Robinson is an acceptable complementary addition - was fortuitous that the raiders did the respectable thing and released the veteran early to allow him to catch on before the rush

I just want the big guy from UConn, Travis Jones to be fine. He is an absolute mauler and brutally strong. He consistently overwhelmed O-linemen last night. He is going to be an important part of our rush D on the front 3-4. Pierce, Jones, and Campbell with Oweh and Bowser is going to be hard to defend against.

Yeah , Travis is another steal in the draft just like Likely. I really like this draft class.

yes, this class is going to be a monster. Can't wait to see it in a couple years.

Likely makes our lack of WRs much more palatable. Our receiving options in this order are Andrews / Bateman / then Proche or Likely depending on the scheme. Likely has been playing from the slot as well as inline, how are teams going to defend this.

It's my favorite season - the we're going to lose every UDFA ever if we don't put them on the 53 season. The number of people I've seen worried about Polk, Bridges, Bolden, etc. is wild. If the Ravens cut a WR with what our current group looks like, I think we know the reality.

I don't think we lose any of these WRs if they are cut.

I'd be surprised if we did unless one goes off on Saturday. Just amazing how many people see a dude make a catch in a preseason game and then act like there's no way we can cut them. Twitter is rampant.

I really think the only UDFA that even has a chance of being lost is Ross. And that is still not even close to a certainty. In fact it's still more likely he'd not be picked up than would.

The WRs are absolute trash. Polk seems like a nice guy to have on the PS. That's about it

I don't think he has to have that same level of production either though. 208 in the air and 80 on the ground. 288 total.

This year the number was 240 in the air and 64 on the ground. 304 total. <----With injuries to the o-line and rbs.

I would imagine that a better run game allows him to exploded for those bigger runs without forcing him to do too much,

250 air and 55-65 ground is realistic to me.
