John Simon. Cut after year one here, played heavy snaps for like 3 years in Houston/Indy, and was playing heavy snaps in NE in '19-'20. Was still playing as of last season, but doesn't appear to be this year.

with ojabo you see the natural rush feel, he's measured slower than oweh but he's probably quicker off the mark (their 10yd splits are identical) but i think ojabo's get off is probably better, and he's got really nice reactive hand usage and a bunch of rush moves in his toolkit already... in ojabo's case it's the other stuff where you have some questions (can he consistently set the edge and stay disciplined in run defence)

both very athletic although with slightly different profiles, very similar upsides, very similar backgrounds - good complements for each other

I think oweh more suited to play SAM than straight edge, I think he could be a problem in a few years in tyus bowsers role, just gonna take refinement. Frankly I like him better in space than as a primary rusher, his toolkit works better there, he can be a guy who you specialize exotic rushes for because he SHOULD be able to finish a delay/stunt like no one else.

Ojabo looks like the designated rusher, the Khalil Mack type that you just line up where he’s got the biggest advantage and just let him wreck shop, scheme the rest.

I’ve been feeling for a while that we got a real bright 2-3 years ahead on defense if we can stay healthy. These guys are a big reason why

ironically until Oweh's taking on of more SAM stuff this year i would have felt more the other way around lol
Ojabo showed some natural coverage ability with Michigan and some fluid movement in space (not that oweh didnt)

it's cool though that we've got likely 2 years of Ojabo, Oweh and Bowser together and the flexibility that gives us with their toolkits is outrageous - i would like to see Oweh given more straight rush opportunities though (and fewer snaps) - the other hope is that as JPP gets back in, and as Houston and Bowser return that Oweh gets more favourable looks

Lmao.. man i just dnt see it in him like everyone else and never did.Love that he tries so i gotta respect it but him being some kind of a real edge threat is something i just cant see yet. Hopefully he comes around….. but just like queen, i gotta call trash when i see it….. queen might be worse

It certainly is! I begged my wife to let me have some ganja, but to no avail. I wanted to smoke ganja in a chillum as I used to in college.

BTW, that was an awesome idea! I wish I had thought of it!
 
Trade deadline is like what 3 to 4 weeks out? If obajo, browser and houston are back by then and it actually looks like we have a nice pass rush, could you all see edc making a trade that could potentially put us over the top for a SB run?

if the health stays good i think the only place he might look to add is at WR if someone makes sense (either someone like OBJ or Fuller or a trade)
