Wins have a way of glossing over and blinding fans from the awful truth about why their team still isn't all of that....while losses have a way of causing the fan base to believe that their team is the Antichrist!

Lol......interesting take. You know though as long as a team has a chance to get into the tournament they have as as much of a chance to be “all that” as any other. Championships are never won in the fall.

I definitely agree! If we can make it into the playoffs....anything can happen! Any team can win! But the the Baltimore Ravens are "not all that" at the moment, as most teams aren't but we're not talking about them-we're speaking about the Ravens! Last night's 40-0 win doesn't give me any kind of hope that they will be cause they are so helter skelter in their gameplay. Win this week lose the next etc. I just rejoice in the win....when they win!
I’m not that mad at suh - as long as alonso and Hayes get suspensions i don’t really care about suh to be honest - it was a choke hold but it was not that bad - the hit on flacco and the eye poke are the big ones for me

flacco had his best game of the year. using nfl.com he rated 107. but then again this is the fins at home and last year against em he careered with a 118. mallet was only 3 for 7 and threw a couple winged quail, he's rusty fur sur. still mallet rated a 89 which aint bad and exceeds joejoes career mark of 83. you had to love his TD pass it was spot on. now I certainly know malets 7 passes are not a sufficient sample size. know that certain. but with more playing time he can fill the bill and equal or better flaccos career 83. hes got a big arm and needs game time and hes far cheaper. wanna see him vs the titans, granting its a tough row to hoe.
if flacco starts it would be a safety concern. he's got a bad back, hes got a concussion. he can't play next week. not if player safety really matters.

well if your gonna suspend "after the play" contact, you gotta suspend Jensen too. you really want that scrutiny?
It’s not about watching highlights. Your obviously going to find only the players best moments on highlights. You have to watch game tape.

Personally not that interested in whether Suh gets suspended - as long as Jensen doesn't get more than a light fine (no suspension) and Alonzo gets hit with a min 1 game and maybe more, I'll be fine.
All the old school guys out there defending Alonzo's hit ... this isn't you'rd dad's NFL anymore. Listening to Cowherd talking about what Dick Butkis did ... or even Ray Lewis in the early 2000s ... how is that relevant?
I understand Joe's slide was late and there is no way for Alonzo to stop his momentum on a bang - bang play ... but you cannot tell me that he could not have avoided dipping his shoulder and following Joe to the ground, focusing that strike point the way he did. No way to have avoided contact but could have avoided curling that shoulder down and focusing the strike toward the ground the way he did.

I agree.
There is no physical way he could of avoided hitting Joe due to Joe's late slide.
But he most certainly could have lessened and or less direct on the impact.

still think you're asking a guy once he's committed to contact to modify something too late to be modified. if the nfl suspends Alonso, I won't be surprised but it won't be fair. the nfl has allowed more contact this year. not as many flags on hits to receivers just getting the ball. it was also a chippy game. jensens hit wasn't as incapacitating but he clearly hit far after the play in retaliation. best to let sleepin dogs sleep.,
