Maclin schedule visit with bills today. Ravens on wednesday

Agreed on West and the RB corps. His YAC was middling last season from a numbers stand point, but I thought he fared better on tape. His balance and vision are rock solid for a runner his size.
 
If he doesn't sign with Buffalo today and makes a trip to Baltimore, I can't see us letting him go. It'll be another Mike Wallace situation. Too bad we just couldn't be his first visit.
 
Reports from @BillsFanaticsBF (idk if legitimate) are that Maclin is signing with Buffalo for 1yr/4-5mil.

Edit: was posted 11 hours ago, so probably not legit. Plus seems crazy to think Maclin would do a 1 year deal right before turning 30. But apparently that page has been spot on about Bills signings all year.

I was gonna say lol. 11 hours ago, and hasn't even visited yet, with other visits planned. Something seems a little fishy.
 
Personally, I don't see the allure of choosing Buffalo over us. They've got some talent but they play in the Patriots division and won't dethrone them and an up and coming Miami team who has shown promise. Add to that the weather, average QB play, and terrible ownership and it doesn't scream a great situation but at the end of the day, they can offer more money than we can.

Yeah I'm not going to get my hopes up too high until I see someone else confirm this but the guy is a verified account and covers the Bills and discussed it further in his article without sourcing Shefter.

Nothing definitive, but apparently Bills fans are hearing 1 yr/$5M with a team option for 2018 for $9.5M.

Not seeing that reported anywhere, though.

Done, unless we offer him a guarantee 2 year deal with incentives to where he can make as much as he would have in Buffalo.
