The 2023 Offseason Thread

When I was at UCF in 2015, I happened to see him and the Griffin twins chilling by the dorm that I stayed at. They really do seem like good dudes. Speaking of which, Tacko Fall is one TALL MOTHERFUCKER.

Interesting that by filing this paperwork now the Bucs will eat his entire 35 mil dead cap this year. Had he waited until June it would have split 15/25 over the next two years. Bucs must have said F it let’s get it over with now. The rebuild is on in Tampa. Curious what happens with Godwin and Evans. @Deebo813 tickers will def be cheaper this year.

do we play the bucs?

Ironically most of the "Reid tree" guys have been defensive coaches, but on the offensive side, you basically had Matt Nagy (a failure) and then Doug Pederson, who's clearly NFL-HC quality and has had pretty good offenses everywhere he's been.

I think the guy that's currently the Giants offensive coordinator was good last year and he was once apart of Andy Reid coaching staff as well. My whole view point of Eric Beienemy is that he has mainly been a running back coach for most of his coaching career before he eventually became the OC for The Chiefs. We all know he's not the one calling the plays a 100 percent of the time.

Nagy and Pederson were both in the same boat but for some reason Beienemy is having trouble getting hired as a head coach. Not sure why but let's say he does become The Ravens OC after the super bowl and it may be considered a slam dunk hire but I'm just not sure if he's the guy that's going to really help LJ take his game to the next level. I don't question his intelligence and I think he's a really good coach but nothing about his prior coaching experience gives me the impression that he could help LJ focus on improving on his throwing mechanics. Atleast Nagy and Pederson have been quarterback coaches at some point of their career.

Hopefully we hear about a interview with Brian Johnson after tomorrows game.
