Does anyone else feel like we blew the best chance we will probably have for the next, say, 5 years?
What's annoying is the inconsistency from the refs. They'll call holding on Stephens (or Maulet, forget which one) in the 1Q, but nothing on Likely (not the end zone INT).As for officiating, there were at least 3 potential DPI. I can actually understand people saying swallow the flag on the interception. That one wasn’t even the one that pissed me off. Likely and Beckham both had DPI but neither was called. Both I thought were pretty blatant too.
As for the Lamar INT, I haven't seen the replay yet (too pissed to), but I wonder if he had green in front of him. This can't be you 6th year with that much time on the clock in a 10 point game and you fucking throw it into triple coverage. Even if you don't see the 3rd guy somehow he's still doubled. The zay at least has the excuse of being a rookie and trying to make something happen even if I believe theres no damn point in trying to dive.
The hold on Likely I just don't get. And like I said in another post even on the Zay TD there was a HUGE hold they didn't flag either.
Anyway. It seems like FO likes these small shifty guys but think it would do us good to go after at least 1 bigger framed wr.
Wasted season
Yes. I still think we'll win enough games to compete for a playoff spot. Outside of Lamar turning to January Joe, I just don't see it tbh.Does anyone else feel like we blew the best chance we will probably have for the next, say, 5 years?
I think it's worth mentioning that on the interception, Likely had a step. What's annoying is the inconsistency from the refs. They'll call holding on Stephens (or Maulet, forget which one) in the 1Q, but nothing on Likely (not the end zone INT).

Yeah at that point, it felt like Lamar was forcing the issue.I think it's worth mentioning that on the interception, Likely had a step.
Lamar said he didn't want to throw it out of the end zone, but he really needed to place it in the back of the endzone.
Probably. Then again the years we did win it all we weren’t the favoritesDoes anyone else feel like we blew the best chance we will probably have for the next, say, 5 years?
I don't know. Ravens fans probably felt the same way about the 2019 season then the 2023 season happened. Honestly we probably haven't seen this team best showing yet.Does anyone else feel like we blew the best chance we will probably have for the next, say, 5 years?
Yep, fuck footballI just saw that Lamar is 2-4 in the postseason. 2 losses as the #1 Seed in the AFC. In the 4 losses; the Ravens averaged 10.5 pts a game in those losses. In the 4 losses; Lamar has 4 TDs to 8 turnovers. On 3rd downs yesterday vs the Chiefs, Lamar was 1 of 6 for 7 yards, and against their blitz, he was 48%. That's horrific.
I honestly didn't think Andy Reid was particularly good yesterday either. I think their offense was good for about a quarter to a quarter and a half, but I saw nothing special from Reid in the second half or even in the later part of the first half. They basically just took check downs all game, and couldn't beat man coverage in the second half.
We said the same thing in 2019/20 and here we are. Team can undergo massive changes in that time, both good and bad.Does anyone else feel like we blew the best chance we will probably have for the next, say, 5 years?
At the game I remember thinking likely was breaking open and that safety showed up out of left field. Either throw it sooner or higher and further outI think it's worth mentioning that on the interception, Likely had a step.

2 MVPs, 2 playoff wins and one does it without a HoF wideoutdid ryan clark say whats the difference between lamar and tua? lol

Underthrew that one and overthrew every other deep ball beside the Flowers playi mean the way he described it in his post-game presser, he saw the coverage but thought he could put it at the back of the endzone and have only likely have a chance at it but underthrew it
