Week 13 Discussion (Other Teams)

I might win my pick em pool again this week! 2 hours ago I switched my pick from Philly to Seattle. I just had a feeling Philly would lose. I factor in they have to fly 6 or 7 hours across the country so the long plane ride will have them drained and Seattle has the toughest HFA in the NFL or one of them. I thought this would be a trap game for the Eagles.

Ok Harbs, whatever Voo Doo you have up your sleeve tonight, make sure its good. Really hoping Dalton can take advantage of the Steelers secondary like Hundley did.

marcus gilbert is still suspended right?
hopefully some of these bengals rookie dlineman and especially the edge rushers can give big ben a hard time and may rough up those lineman a bit/rough up big ben - tonight i wanna see big ben on the floor with carl lawson or jordan willis taking him down hard

I think Atkins or Dunlap might wreck them, while Burfict is busy stepping on ABs toes.

Update on AB's status for tonight's game:

Adam Schefter‏Verified account @AdamSchefter
ESPN's @RandyMoss said he expects Antonio Brown to play tonight but that the Steelers WR is favoring his sprained toe in pre-game warmups. And @SuzyKolber reported that Brown is moving "gingerly."

hopefully he plays and exacerbates it enough that he's not ok against us but is also absolutely fine - not wishing another guy gets injured but definitely wishing an existing injury might cause him to be off his best against us

it's hard to know who to root for tonight... i hate both teams so much - does a 0-0 tie help us at all?

Root for the Bengals, it will help us in the division race. Steelers are 3-0 in the division, we are 2-1. A Bengals loss drops them to 3-1 in the division, we beat Pittsburgh next week we go to 3-1 and the Steelers drop to 3-2 giving us the tiebreaker over them in the event we end in a tie in which after Week 15, they lose to the Pats and we beat the Browns will go 4-1 in the Division.

that's what i was thinking too but then it does also leave the bengals in the wildcard race and i feel like our chances of reclaiming the division from the steelers are pretty slim

Yeah but they still have the Vikings in week 15, hopefully Matthew Stafford will be ok to play them in Week 16 and with us fighting for a playoff spot we should keep the Bengals out come week 17. Their only easy game is against the Bears but we saw how "easy" the Bears were earlier.

Steelers are Last in NFL in kick return yards. Something we can take advantage of. Have to look at anything and everything that could give us an advantage

would it be bad if I hoped Antonio Brown and Levian Bell both got hurt tonight ?

Kind of....but Brown has a turf toe it seems and hes playing through it so its not going to get any better. Either way injuries will happen....its steelers and bengals
