That’s fair and obviously everyone’s brain registers information in different ways

And this is all with the proviso that I’ve never played uncharted (just watched playthroughs) but naughty dog (the company that makes uncharted) is a division of Sony who make PlayStation and mostly make it available only on Sony platforms (at least for a long time) so it makes sense that it would be optimised for a controller but then again if you are more used to mouse based shooters then that’ll likely work better for you
Yeah, I didn't think about that. It might be helpful if spend more time playing and getting used to the controls.

Just picked up Nier: Automata. Holy shit is this game good. Really fun hack and slash gameplay with an interesting story.

Still need to finish wolfenstein

Destiny 2 is so bad :(

I never really got the hype of Destiny anyways. However, I'm curious to hear why you're not a fan of it.
I absolutely LOVED Destiny 1. It was something new for me. I've never experienced any "end-game" video games like that before. I would just play the campaign, beat it, and then be done with it. I actually played Destiny 1 a little too much.

I was expecting the same kind of grind for Destiny 2, but they really catered it to the casuals, and that's understandable, but Bungie seemingly forgot about the hardcore players that made the game so popular in the first place. Destiny 2, or D2 for short, hands out all of the loot like it's candy. Maybe I just have really good RNG, but I have every single exotic in the game, and I got every single exotic from the newest expansion within a couple of weeks. There's no Gjallarhorn to grind for. No Vex Mythoclast. No Ice Breaker. All of the weapons are re-skins, and the Exotics don't feel "exotic" at all.

The game has become all about cosmetics, being locked behind a paywall in the Eververse store. I don't need my Titan to have the newest armor with the same perks as my older armor. I don't care about that. I care about the weapons, and most of them in this game are god awful.

Essentially, there's just no grind, and even if you did grind and logged tons of hours, the weapons and armor aren't worth it. They've totally regressed. I wish they would combine D2 with D1 and admit that they made a HUGE mistake.

Hmm. Other from loot boxes and microtransactions, paywalls may be the biggest detriment to gaming. So you mean to tell me after spending $60 on a new game, I have to pay an additional amount to unlock content that's ALREADY IN THE GAME??? Seriously, I never understood this type of thinking from the developers.

Anthem is now doomed thanks to EA who lost it's way a long time ago.

I refuse to pre-order any game thanks to the Division and Destiny

Destiny 2 isn't my kind of game, but my coworkers are crazy about it. I figured it must be really popular and well received, but maybe not.

Yeah, there's just no longer an end-game worth playing for. I enjoyed D2 when it came out for the first couple of months and logged a ton of hours, but after getting all my characters to max level at the time, which in itself doesn't really feel like your character is that powerful, there was nothing much left to do. I'm waiting for the first TTK-like expansion to come out to see if they address the major underlying issues with the game. Otherwise, I guess I'll just wait for D3.

Apparently a lot of D2's original development got scrapped and the project was restarted in 2016. Which is why it's basically a rehash of destiny 1 with very little in the way of new content.

You can't even call it a rehash though when D1 was a much more complete game by its end. All they had to do was build upon D1, in its final form, and keep adding to the game, but instead we got a game with less features from the start. D2 is a regression in just about every way except graphics and sound.

Gentlemen, Monster Hunter is the shit and the urine.

Haven't touched D2 in months nor did I opt in for the first DLC. I am done with Activision for what I believe they did to this game and Bungie as a whole. EA is also doing the same to Bioware
