Who never watches the games live and is still an authority. Amazing. And you once said wouldn't it be interesting if the team was watching what we said and took our advice? Quite an ego. Foolish and living in a fantasy world thinking an NFL franchise would take advice from a forum.

what are you talking about? ive missed 2 games of the ravens in the last 2 years (including preseason) despite living in a country that means that a not insignificant number of those games finish around 4am local time - one because i was driving cross country and the other was last night
also at what point have i ever suggested that teams should actually take our advice? do you not understand the concept of a hypothetical? i only said it would be interesting to see what would happen if this forum did collectively run a franchise...

I don’t disagree that the players love him, as I said, he’s a good NFL coach and just like Andy Reid, would definitely be coaching another team next season if the Ravens were to let him go. But I don’t buy the whole “the players play hard for him” statement. Plain and simple, this team has lacked in preparation, in game adjustments, laid 2 complete stinkers at home to bad teams, were given one of the easiest schedules in the league, had a 97% of making it to the post season, and still managed to unmotivate and limp their way to another failed season and then cry the blues of how much they love each other and will give it the old college try to get back next year. If they love each other, and are completely unified and okay being a mediocre football team, so be it. The seats will continue to be empty, and Other fans will be able to buy tickets on stub hub for as little as $25.

To be quite honest I was trying to think of the commercial that said it was the ultimate authority but was at a loss for words. My wife wouldn’t believe it though.

If Pagano or Austin came back as DC and Kubiak was lured out of retirement I would be so happy I wouldn't know what to do with myself.
Kubiak is being promoted to a high level front office job for the Broncos. He’s been a consultant since July.

By the way, speaking of accountability, the cream puff members of the media in the Baltimore area are to blame just as much as the front office, IMO. When do you ever hear these guys asking the tough, but necessary questions? Put the Team leaders in front of a podium and grill them with a cold hard dose of the truth and watch them fumble over their words while searching for answers. Man Alive!
