Disclaimer: I haven't watched as much NBA as I had in previous years.
To me, it just seems that the Cavs just traded role players for role players. Despite their recent struggles, I still had them coming out of the East. I just don't see any of them making that difference.
Now for the Lakers, I thought they said they were no longer looking to get him and Paul George. I think they're gearing for 2019's free agency where Jimmy Butler and Kawhi Leonard are FAs. As for IT, I don't see the Lakers giving IT the "brinks truck" he's been desperately wanting.
NBA isn't worth watching till the FINALS.
I wouldn't say that. As a whole the Cavs got a lot younger and upgraded significantly on defense and got court spacing. The only true role player here is Nance.. Who is the kind of role player the Cavs did. Cavs still won the Kyrie trade though considering what they got for IT afterwards and plus that top end draft pick they're still going to get.
I could see them giving IT that money. He is kind of the perfect guard scoring wise to put next to Lonzo Ball. "But they're both PGs". Lonzo is an unselfish player and can set up all kinds of opportunities. Brandon Ingram is blossoming into a very good young player. Lakers will have a ton of cap space going forward. Lakers look to be really good moving forward.
