lol. I think he was probably just wore out, tired and relieved it was over with. He said he landed “late last night, early morning” and then said he got to the Castle at 7:00 AM. That video was probably at what, 6:00PM or so? Long, arduous 24 hours where he went from being cut from the team on the west coast to signing with his new team on the east coast. Also guessing there was a rigorous physical performed in that period. All of that would wear anyone out both mentally and physically.

McPhee can't stay healthy. There is nothing left in FA in terms of O line with any semblance of quality.
Guessing they may make a play for Wallace at the right price and save the rest for when there are camp cuts. Maybe Ebron? Don’t know.

Kind of feel like we should be pulling all the stops out for Ebron, we have pass blocking TEs in Williams and Boyle, Ebron seems like Flacco's dream of a TE

Pick up another WR in round 2 or 3 in the draft (Miller pleeeeease)

I'd really like if we can pick Ebron but don't think we will - he'll be a Colt.
I think I’d rather find a way to pick Gesicki and make him that guy. It looks like he wiil be one of those that can make an immediate impact. Save the cap $ for O line depth.

As a starter. As a rotational guy give me McPhee. Can make an instant impact in the run game and can help out our interior pass rush big time.

I'd be totally fine with him here

Would be a good move as a “luxury”, but every available dime should be spent on the other side of the ball. Add depth to the O line rather than adding to Williams, Pierce and Henry.

This team has always been a defensive team and the pass rush has dissapeared at the worst possible times. Sorry man, as favor as I am of fixing this offense, we're a defensive first team. Always have been, always should be. This "let's build an offensive juggernaut" idea is a pointless one... And whether people like to admit it or not.. Crabtree and Brown are monumental upgrades and they alone make the offense... Adaquate. More moves via the draft are and should be coming in the draft. Tweak up the line, add a pass catcher or two, hell, a running back wouldn't be bad.. But a guy like McPhee coming off of the bench in a significant role where he's a run defender and an interior rusher would benefit the team in so many ways.

And yes. The league is becoming more of an offensive league.. All the more reason to build up the defense. A guy like McPhee and possibly a Derrick Johnson puts the defense over the top potentially. It's already a super bowl caliber unit. If the opportunity to make it better for something relatively inexpensive arrises... We'd be fools not to.

Truth be told, our two offseason acquisitions thus far have been promising. Crabtree is a BEAST in the intermediate game and in the red zone and athletically doesn't look like he's slowing down. Plus his ability to grab contested grabs is something we haven't had here since Pitta. Brown, when healthy is one of the most underrated WRs in the game. He's explosive as hell, reliable, and a good route runner. When they're both healthy, they're high end #2s. I don't think people understand how good of an acquisition Brown is if he's healthy. In a more limited role too that should only help him.

I'd acquire two more players like we said we could. A defensive guy and an offensive linemen. Their isn't a WR left worth throwing money at, and there isn't a TE left either. There's a few flier guys on the oline we could take a chance on. Travis Swanson would be one who shouldn't break the bank. Defensively, we've got McPhee, Derrick Johnson, hell Navarro Bowman would be an amazing acquisition too(talk about a guy who would solve basically 75% of our defenses' problems all on his own).

Draft should be offensive heavy. I may have not liked keeping Hurst, but this offseason has been more successful than I anticipated so far.

"offensive juggernaut"? lol I just want some guys in there that can catch and block. I think they probably add Wallace at the right price, but losing Ryan leaves a big hole whether Skura shines or not. Howard is gone....... etc.. I also think other(defense) moves depend upon how the draft shakes out.

I'd love a move to bring back Pernelephant, but not until the O line is flush with dependable bodies.
