Disclaimer: I haven't watched as much NBA as I had in previous years.

To me, it just seems that the Cavs just traded role players for role players. Despite their recent struggles, I still had them coming out of the East. I just don't see any of them making that difference.

Now for the Lakers, I thought they said they were no longer looking to get him and Paul George. I think they're gearing for 2019's free agency where Jimmy Butler and Kawhi Leonard are FAs. As for IT, I don't see the Lakers giving IT the "brinks truck" he's been desperately wanting.

NBA isn't worth watching till the FINALS.

I wouldn't say that. As a whole the Cavs got a lot younger and upgraded significantly on defense and got court spacing. The only true role player here is Nance.. Who is the kind of role player the Cavs did. Cavs still won the Kyrie trade though considering what they got for IT afterwards and plus that top end draft pick they're still going to get.

I could see them giving IT that money. He is kind of the perfect guard scoring wise to put next to Lonzo Ball. "But they're both PGs". Lonzo is an unselfish player and can set up all kinds of opportunities. Brandon Ingram is blossoming into a very good young player. Lakers will have a ton of cap space going forward. Lakers look to be really good moving forward.

Quietly and without Vonleh, the Blazers stepped up and won by 18 over the sad sack Kings. Dame scored 50 under 30 minutes of playing time. Mo Harkless scored 15 on 6 of 9 shooting and Ed Davis snatched 15 rebounds. Got to get through March towards the playoffs as 6 other teams have similar win loss records. View attachment 589 Substitute team inserted for dramatic effect.

I don't know about the Cavs "winning" the Kyrie trade since this ensured the Cs don't have to pay that money plus they got a better player than IT. Assuming #HeGone, it doesn't matter what top end draft pick they got because the Cavs have been HORRIBLE at drafting top end talent when LeBron wasn't there (sans Kyrie).

Now the Lakers has had a good amount of cap space for quite some time, yet none of the top names go there. What makes this offseason any different?

Blazers beat the Warriors. What a good game! Durant was on fire. Dame had 44. They are like the Cincinnati Bengals to me.

Who, the Blazers? Hell no because the Bengals had talent to win multiple Super Bowls. Outside of Lillard and McCollum, we don't have much on a consistent basis. Plus, our bench isn't all that.

Western playoffs might be good. Maybe 2 good series in the east.
Really depends on the seeding though:
I don't see the Spurs doing shit if Kawhi is gonna remain sidelined.

The Wolves can make things interesting against the Rockets, but damn Thibs, those minutes thoooooo.

OKC is a wildcard to me. I'd give them a better chance against the Rockets then against the dubs.

Nuggets - one and done

Pelicans - one and done

Now the talk with the Rockets is "can they beat the Warriors" or "do they have enough to beat the Warriors?" The better question is, how can we trust them when their PG lost to a Jazz team without Gobert and their SG had one of the most pathetic and inexplicable performances in recent times against a Spurs team with NO Kawhi? Please....riddle me that. What they do in the regular season is completely meaningless until they show they can do something that's worth shit.

Which leaves me with my Blazers. The ONLY team I could see us beating in the first round are the Wolves.

GS=C Bengals. The Blazers can get into the playoffs where our beloved Ravens are speared with bad luck. 12/30/17

The Jazz are to be feared. The final round always ends with GS just like the NFL has NE. >On S2 there are two jersey contests that you should check out. I am pleading my status as the lone Blazer fan in a State of 8 million people.

But the Warriors have won rings though whereas the Bengals haven't. As far as talent is concerned, they're more the Patriots than the Bengals.

No team is hotter than the Jazz, but I need to see if they can sustain this amazing-ness from them. 11 game winning streak and are STILL in 10th place in the West? Wow....

The All Star Game will finally land in Charlotte in 2019. Interesting after the controversey a couple years ago that they would be considered so soon.

Comment regarding the All Star Game:
Curry looked embarrassed when he could not make his shot or got stifled with blanket defense.
LeBron was in awe when he met Dr. J.
LeBron has effort in everything he does.
Why did the league need coaches and refs?
Why would a guy manicure his eyebrows?

Fergie sung the national anthem so poorly that Colin Kaepernick got up and told her to stop disrespecting the anthem like that

But..................we haven't clinched a playoff berth. We're falling in the same trap that many people did here for the Ravens.
I have a positive feeling about our role in the playoffs. Shooting for 13 straight tonight!

So far so good. I noticed that damn near every time that you post something BEFORE we play the Clippers, we lose. So as a way of reversing this trend, I decided to not reply to your post until the game was over. So far so good for us.....

C'mon Dom. I have no mysterious jinx. I'm from Jersey for Chris sakes. I had nothing to do with the Rockets, Celts or the Grizz games. C'mon Blazers- beat the barbers.
