The agenda being if they had it their way you would not have protests of 100 people, but stopping the protesting is not a reasonable goal.

If stopping the protests is not a reasonable goal then the alternative is to simply recommend being in smaller groups. It is not a great idea by any stretch, but it's the best goal they can manage.

this is all an utter joke. Would this have happened to this extent if/when/has/have white cops killed a white dude ?

I'd make the argument that the real racists are the mobs. They wouldn't have bothered if this were a white dude
what about the murdered and raped kids by cops and the cops who got away with it IN COURT

You could make the argument that real racists are the people protesting demonstrative racism by police but you would be wrong.

The protests happened because there was a video where a cop murdered someone. It came as no surprise because this was not the first or the second or the 3rd or the 4th or the 5th or the 6th, and everyone expected once again no accountability.

I understand how to use facts to suit an argument (hint not the best way to find out the truth), but the problem the full scope of the numbers do not support your argument. What you are doing is the classic mistake of searching for facts to suit theories rather than theories to suit facts, which is I guess is a common thing people do by accident so it's not as though you are the only one who is making that mistake.

What people know is that police brutality has been a problem for a long time. What people know is that many of the people protesting have directly experienced it. The only thing that has changed is that the cameras are now on. If you think that woman in New York was a one off event that rarely happens then you are one deluding yourself and furthermore if he had not been recording it would have worked, because it has worked before.

this is the 2nd incident already - this one they sent 7 police cars to arrest this guy who took the video of the police macing the 9 year old girl



do you know what they've accused him of that they would apparently need 7 police cars etc. - shining a laser pointer...

I'm aware of police brutality but these demostrations are nothing to do with police brutality. I've been callling out police brutality for years and how statism creates this kind of mindset.

I'm still trying to figger out how this thread is even well mannered anymore. Not when I see 2 guys that I highly respect for their opinions in @cobrajet and @balfan23 get verbally abused and get told they're either bullshitting or deflecting. Its really disgusting. Cops go out on all kinds of calls and they dont worry about what race they're gonna save or even encounter. They dont say "Oh they're black lets grab some donuts before we get there cuz their lives are not as important as others". To sit here with your 24 hr surveillance of biased twitter reports is about the most anal thing I've ever seen when over 200 of our officers have suffered injuries caused by protestors and riots. Lets not show none of those tho. There are polls by NPR and Monmouth that show police support is still high. Its a shame cuz everybody knew George Floyd's death was tragic and everybody thought the cop deserved murder charges so really now was not the best time to start doing marches during a pandemic when everybody was in agreement. Thats what causes division and puts a sour taste in peoples mouths and believe me I talk to a lot of people. Black,white,hispanic. People justify the protest in general but when there is total destruction and lawbreaking............the message gets lost. Just a shame when black lives matter only when it involves the police. Who gives a shit about David Dorn an ex cop who was serving as a security guard only to be killed by looters. Or the high death rates of blacks in urban areas at the hands of civilians. Or the deaths of officers which way outnumber the deaths of unarmed people of all races. No outrage ever!!! No only the miniscule % of police brutality is the trigger. Think of all the incidents police officers are involved in and the dangers they deal with.

Talk about some hypocrisy by some democrat governors and mayors. Gretchen Whitmer from Mich falsely marching with the protestors but lawdy "Dont you dare open up your hair salon or hardware store you filthy little minions. You're not important or essential and who cares if you got kids. You small minded selfish individuals. You can cause deaths dont you know." Now she's out marching kissing some serious ass. Boy I tell you the fakeness out of these democrats. I'm hoping #BlackLivesMatter and all the participants that are marching know what is truly the head of the snake. The people that run the cities with their endless regulations, excessive laws and high taxes but yet hey man lets keep voting them in. Maybe sooner or later we can get some changey changey hopey hopey. The democrats keep saying "Its those white Republicans in their wizard hats waving their evil magic wands on that redneck remote mountain over yonder. Its not us. If you dont watch it they'll take away all your free shit and let you become a self serving individual again. No it has nothing to do with horribly run education systems, crime running rampant and us lying to you over and over again with our false promises". Right now we getting ready to watch Sheila Dixon step back in as mayor. Yeah a real peach there right. She's a damn criminal. And also more than likely you getting a regurgitated Kweisi Mfume to replace Cummings in the 4th district. You want real change? Vote Kimberly Klacik. Then you might see jobs and oppurtunities come back and some real hope.

Also democrats seem to support ANTIFA a lot. This is a group that is 100% communist. Look it up on Wikipedia if you dont believe me. How many of these lefties praise marxism? Its the same as communism. Karl Marx wrote the Communist Manifest in 1848. Read the below link and tell me how much it aligns with democratic beliefs. Its really explained in layman's terms. Especially look at private ownership and whats happening to our small businesses now.

Or is it about getting out of a tyrannical lockdown cuz I see so much dancing and just having fun and being involved in something? Or could it be something more sinister? Thing is justice is gonna get served here and this was a time for unification when everybody was in agreeance. It really stinks that it was division is what was actually caused.

You have awaken my good sir, you now see the hypocritical ways of the Democrats that I have been saying in this thread.

It was always about division, never about unity. Like I hate the fact that everyone can agree police brutality is bad and needs to be stopped but yet somehow we are fighting among ourselves which doesn't help the cause at all. The problem was nobody listened at all, I see people saying they will do a better job listening but man, the people of the United States need to be telling that message to their own government.
