I went back and watched the Ohio State game. By my count Oweh only had one pressure, but I couldn't help but watch more of Ohio States LT Thayer Munford. Lets just say he may be a top 10 lock in the 2022 draft. Im confused as to why he didn't come out this year, after Sewell he has the best tape...
What concerns me about he PFF grades is that Big Ben had the quickest release time last season. You'd expect a tackle to grade highly if the QB is getting rid of the ball quickly instead AV graded average. Then again Orlando Brown was in a very favorable scheme that basically removes the threat...
Seems like DeCosta was pissed that they lost out on a bunch of good players. Again I think giving up a second in that Orlando Brown trade was not a good decision, but if Oweh turns into an all-pro it doesn't matter.
I honestly have no idea what the plan is at RT. O line is only as strong as the weakest link. They need to find an adequate player there. I hope they are aggressive and address it after the draft.
Definitely a need pick with Cleveland. The front office has not been good at scouting and drafting interior o line man recently. I think the trend continues.
