There is holding on EVERY PLAY. You could call this during every play, coaches had a SENSE, a SENSE that offensive lineman were getting away with holding TOO MUCH. So the NFL caved and told the officials to be more strict with holding calls thus tonight's debacle.

The NFL’s decision to make holding a point of emphasis came because of a sense among some coaches that linemen were getting away with holding too much. But that would be preferable to the way holding calls are taking the fun out of games this season.

Tony Dungy just tweeted out the stupidest defense of the officials ever by blaming the players for lack of preseason reps.

These Fox announcers seem like they’re blaming the officials for all the penalties being called. Maybe more players need to get some full speed reps in the preseason so they don’t hold, they don’t false start and jump offside when they have to go all out early in the season?

Minshew is unreal, for his first start he is playing like he was the starter heading into training camp. It is truly amazing how injuries really benefited teams in the long run. If Bledsoe didn't get hurt, do we even know who Tom Brady is? If Tommy Maddox didn't get hurt, how long was Ben going to be on the bench for before he started? If Nick Foles didn't get hurt, would we have known the power of the Mustache?
