Yooooo this is lit!!!! Was a huge fan of him coming out of college. Ball hawk. Peter's and Humphrey with Earl on the back end. I'm hype!!!

he'll stay here. The FO loved him during the draft

for what its worth, 3 interceptions already this year AND actually ranked higher in PFF than Humphrey ( 14 compared to 20 overall).

This is a steal

given the fact kenny is playing exclusively on special teams when he's active at this point and we got a free 5th round pick for a punter/kicker who's not even in the nfl at the moment that's outrageous if that really is the compensation

More perspective? He has more interceptions in the last 4 years than Ed Reed in his first 4

AND HE"S A CORNER which is harder to get picks

imagine if we re-sign him and next year we've got peters, humphrey, tavon and carr at corner (assuming jimmy is definitely gone in the offseason now)
 
Before people hype this too much remember that there is a reason the Rams are willing to deal him. He has struggled for long stretches, and played well at other times. If the Ravens work to his strengths then he could be good here. Possibly better than Carr is on the outside. But I'll believe it when I see it.

The good thing is that if this is a bust it didn't cost much. Low risk, possibly a high reward.
 
Damn, great move by EDC! Peters might struggle, at times, but he's definitely an upgrade over what we currently have and he can force turnovers which is something this defense needs more of. Love this move.

that's the thing - given the cost - and it looks like its for kenny young straight up - there's basically no issue here - we've lost basically nothing except 2 years of contract time on kenny young (who was moving backwards not forwards on the depth chart) and worst case this is a less than one-year rental on peters for the cost of the rest of his 5th year option
