Next Up: @ Browns

So what’s gonna be the move to make up for the loss of Bateman?

I hope we see heavy formations consistently, 2 TE or 1TE with Pat, zay and nuk outside, move the line laterally, lots of play action, pitches, and stretch runs.

I don’t want to try to spread teams out too much because because we gotta be able to run the ball. Our OL isn’t built to pass all day, and its not good
Enough to run all day either, I think it’s important that we set up the run by passing out of a balanced or run first personnel, because it’s what our offensive roster is best suited for by far.

I heard we picked up a seasoned vet in the off season and think we have a draft pick we hate to play.

Question: I don't understand why our game is in the 4:25 time slot vs. 1pm. You got BEARS at VIKINGS at 1pm...both in the central time zone. But our game two Eastern time zone teams playing at 4:25.

Must be a ratings thing.

I see a lot of us very comfortable playing the abominable Browns. I'm nervous. We are wired to lose to such teams periodically. After three wins, I am afraid we are close to choking in one winnable game. I want so badly to be proven wrong.

I'm trusting Harbs to have us fully prepared for this one. It's gonna be a tough divisional game, cant wait.
Divisional games are seldom a walkover, regardless of the teams records.

I think it was just to balance out the networks. When possible, they "attempt" to have the same number of games on FOX vs CBS during same time slot. Obviously not possible all the time given the quantity of games.

There's only one CBS game that falls outside the Eastern time zone this week. So they moved one of those to the late window to balance things out.

I highly doubt it's for "ratings", considering BAL/CLE ain't going to draw a good rating. Would have been the lowest rated game on CBS of the week if it stayed in the early window for sure.

Hoepfully just rest for Lamar. Whatever Marlon needs done he should do it now considering its Browns and Jets wr corps. Not too worried if Hill can't go even though his blocking would be helpful.
Marlon's in a tough spot. Without knowing exact extent of injury, we play CIN in 15 days. I don't know too many injuries where you can come back and play post-surgery in that time span.

I'm going to assume they thought Shedur would have been starting by now so they put it there thinking people would tune in for Sanders vs Lamar.

This is actually the perfect spot in the season to get Tez and Tampa more playing time, so that's not the worry here. Do they bring Lawson up? Feels like they didn't last week to avoid breaking in 2 new guys at same time in rotation.

Part of me wonders if Lawson even gets run here honestly. They said they didn't bring him up because they didn't have the snaps to go around, and OLB4 Ojabo only got 10. If they're a 3 man rotation and you also have Adisa and Tavius potentially in a few weeks, do they even really care to bring up Lawson?

Don't they normally go with a 4 man rotation? Ojabo looks well on his way to inactive, not sure you want that many snaps for KVN (old/not playing that great) or Green (keep him fresh). Seems like there are about 25 snaps to be had there for Lawson or Robinson.
