The Good, The Better and The Best vs NE

Also, I'm so happy we kept Boyle. That was a great call by DeScota and seeing him get his first TD was such a great feeling. I'm so happy for the guy and most of all I love his blocking. His game might not be pretty but damn it he gets the job done.

I'm disappointed with how Hill has been used so far. We should be designing plays to get him the ball in space (dump-offs, screens, etc.) instead of having him attempt the same type of runs as Ingram and Gus. Hill has deceptive power, but it seems like he's always swarmed when he runs the ball and doesn't have much of a chance to break out of it.
Too many mouths to feed on this ground game. I'm not upset he just doesn't have many opportunities with who's in front of him. Also, he's been a bit unlucky, he had a couple of runs he could've had for big gains or TDs if guys could make their blocks and pulls. His time will come he's just got to stay patient.

Man, I was there and had a HELL of a time! Damn those players introductions were probably the best I've ever seen and that got the crowd right into it. Stadium was so loud and I don't think I've ever heard our stadium that loud in person. It was a great game and I'm so hyped we won that. You can tell the noise had an effect on the game.

Game wise, damn it was nice to have Jimmy back. We got more aggressive and gave so many different looks.

I got to give credit to Harbaugh. Let's give him his due. He deserves it. Wink, man what can I say. I'm so happy we have this guy. Let's be honest here, he's going to be a hot HC candidate and probably the most sought after once the season ends. I hope we keep him but if he leaves I would completely understand. It's been so long since we had a DC this great. Props to Greg Roman too, what a game he called.

I seriously hope we keep this staff, lord knows what we can do once we build upon this team with this staff. This is the best staff Harbaugh has ever had.
I was there as well and love how loud the game was. It was also the first game I've been to with a total blackout at the beginning of the game, so cool and to see Ed Reed have his celebration in front of the home crowd was awesome. No way the Patriots were going to beat us today. The game wasn't even as close as it looked as we gave them two gift fumbles.

In regards to Wink. I could see him becoming a head coach, but the one reason he may have a more difficult time is the majority of teams want an offensive head coach.

This team has the vibe of the prime Lewis/Reed/Suggs era teams. There's a confidence here we haven't seen in a while.

Can we talk about how badly we dragged our nuts across their chins from start to finish?

Let's talk about it.....

The best part about this victory is that we still haven't realized our full potential yet. If Hollywood can continue to get healthier then our offense is going to open up more in the passing game and our defense should get better as they get more playing time with each other now that Jimmy is back. Things are looking really good for us to be that "dangerous" team that no one wants to face in the playoffs.

I don't trust him. I dont know what kenneth dixons health situation is currently but if he's 100% i wouldnt be against bringing him back. He's a force when hes healthy and is fantastic in breaking tackles and finding soft spots.

lol i had just looked up what was going on with dixon before you commented - i mean gus and ingram are doing everything inside - hill gives us something a little different when we can scheme space for him - i dont trust him either but we'll see

i think what helps us is that there are hotter defensive coach names out there atm like robert saleh and obviously everyone's always looking for that offensive guru type guy

collinsworth was out there saying greg roman may well be a HC candidate too - would be a shame for us to lose both

our best bet to keep them both honestly is to make a long run in the playoffs and hope the teams find their guys before they talk to our guys lol

some crazy stats from last night:

Patriots defence week 1-8: 0 games allowing 15+ points, allowed 2 rushing tds and 4 total tds
Patriots defence in week 9 (only): gave up 30 points, allowed 3 rushing tds and 4 total tds

Yeah when I saw that it gave the crowd and team so much energy. Also was nice seeing Ed hype up the crowd. Damn it

I think losing Roman would be the worst thing that could happen, besides losing both, of course. I don't think Roman becomes a head coach candidate. Not yet

Some have mentioned Cullen could take over, but I'm not sure about that either. Agree we need to make a deep push in the playoffs and hope we can keep our coaches.

I honestly don't think the teams we've had in past years, even the good ones, would've been able to get the engine started with 17 points, lose momentum with back-to-back fumbles, and then restart and get back in gear again like we did.

it feels like when we hit adversity sometimes that lamar can just will us to convert that 1 play that pulls momentum back our way
