Ravens Ring of Honor
Former Steelers players have also complained about Tomlin running guys too hard in practice, and they would comment that it led to losses due to fatigue, and harbaughs practices have often been regarded as the hardest in the league.
And if your team in constantly melting down in the fourth quarter, it’s not out of the question that they are just more fatigued than their opponents basically every week.
I’ll say that you definitely need a harsh break in period just to get game conditioned, but once you reach that point it should be dialed back and technique, chemistry, and playbook should be the emphasis, rather than continuing the conditioning, at that point you really are just wearing your body down. Proper recovery time really is key for both conditioning and avoiding soft tissue injury, when your muscles and joints are too fatigued you start subconsciously compensating and that’s when injuries happen, along with plain overworking a muscle that’s already in a state of recovery.
Sure it might sound soft but that’s just because it’s being said out loud when most players just stfu about it because they don’t wanna get called a pussy, doesn’t mean Zay isn’t at least partially correct
A simple question that could be asked in all this "Could Zay be right?"
