Next Up: @ Bills

We'll be 11-2 (if we then lose out we'd be 11-5) and the Steelers would be 8-5 (so their best would be 10-6). Basically we get one win and they get one loss and we clinch.

It feels strange to not care about the Wild Card race this year.

ED: Thought you'd reiterated JO's question. Corrected.

they would still be in it. We would have a 3 game lead, with 3 to play and two divisional games. Currently we are 3-1 in the division, they are 3-2.
Thanks guys. I'd like to make it official as soon as possible.

I worry about one thing, our passing game to the TEs. I kinda worry about how our RBs handle the interior run, but I think this is a game where Lamar goes OFF as a runner.

We gotta use our WRs this game, and we need to scheme them and not just expect them to win. Alexander and edmunds could be a problem for the likes of andrews, and tre white and their safety tandem could be an issue for our wr corps, BUT a guy like Boykin could be an X factor playing a big slot role against a team without a real deal nickel, and we need to get a guy like Hollywood open on rubs and such.

Most importantly, make Trent Murphy and Shaq Lawson look like the big uglies they are and run circles around their edges with Lamar, and another thing, bring back the jet sweeps for the same purpose.

If we can’t abuse their edge with speed this game then we’re tripping

Had the Browns won today, all we needed was a win to clinch the division. Now? We need to win THIS game and the following one against the Jets to clinch regardless of what the Steelers do or don't do.

if we win and the steelers lose the division is clinched - we'll have a 4 game lead with only 3 games left

Problem is, I don't see the Steelers West winning next week. I don't trust their defense and I don't think Kyler will do anything against the Steelers defense.

from what i can see on the forecast its gonna be like 7 celsius (like 44 fahrenheit) with a chance of some snow - south-westerly with some wind but not crazy wind but maybe some 20mph+ gusts

obviously that'll change through the week but it looks like the wind is expected to shift from north-east further west through the week

Not to downplay the Bills because they’re still professionals, but they’ve only beaten ONE team this season that was barely above .500 (Dallas). Their schedule has been a complete cakewalk. Any given Sunday I suppose

ironically the bills beating them has the cowboys at .500 lol

I believe they also beat the Titans, but not sure what the Titans record was at the time. They are currently 7-5.

used a different forecast but its not dissimilar - although the one i was looking at was very specific that the precipitation would be snow if they get any
Buffalo gets a lot of snow, I mean a lot! It’s snowing there now. All extended forecasts look good though, even a bit balmy by their standards.

Bennett Jackson cut - my guess is this is making room for Brynden Trawick to come back and help out on special teams

I honestly don’t fear the bills at all.

I fear the classic trap game scenario where we win a tight one against a tough opponent and then go on the road against a weaker but still playoff bound team, but that would imply that we come out flat and unfocused and cough one up.

My only fear is basically the lingering Flacco effect, which so far has been an irrational fear, since this team has proven every time that they are focused and busting their asses to win every game
