DENZEL WARDDB, CLEVELAND BROWNS

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports Browns CBs Denzel Ward (hamstring) and Greedy Williams (hamstring) aren't expected to suit up Monday night against the 49ers.
Fowler went on to state that barring a weekend perk-up, both CBs will miss another game with their respective hamstring issues. This isn't surprising: Neither Ward nor Williams have practiced in weeks. Their expected absence is great news for Deebo Samuel and the 49ers' WRs.

Watch Jimmy G throw for 400 yards taking advantage of their weak secondary.

AB needs help. He was summoned for a deposition in regards to an incident where he threw furniture off a 14 foot building nearly hitting people and acted like a fool and stupid idiot.

  • Arrived nearly 30 minutes late to the deposition.
  • Acted “belligerent and pugnacious, refusing to answer the most routine of questions, despite there being no objection to the questioning coming from his counsel.”
  • “[C]hanted, over and over, as if a mantra, a narrative of his own warped concept of the proceeding.”
  • “Acting as if he was above the rule of law, [Brown] proceeded to make a mockery of the deposition process. [Brown’s] antics were so unreasonable that barely twenty [20] minutes into the deposition, his counsel asked for a break [so] he could speak with [Brown] about his demeanor.”
  • “When the deposition resumed, [Brown] began texting on his cell phone. Regardless of multiple requests from his own counsel, and from the undersigned, [Brown] continued texting.”
  • “After approximately 20-30 minutes, [Brown] required another break. When the deposition resumed [Brown] increased his level of obstructive behavior. At one point, [Brown] refused to answer any questions, instead saying ‘next question’ no less than 10 times.”
  • “Soon thereafter, [Brown] started announcing a countdown, starting at ‘five [5] minutes,’ and counting down the minutes thereafter. Before noon [Brown] left the conference room.”

I no longer think Brown engineered his axing from the Raiders and signing with the Patriots.

Those aren't the actions of a man who can keep the little amount of control of himself that would be required for such a scheme.

ELI MANNINGQB, NEW YORK GIANTS

The Athletic's Jay Glazer "wouldn't be surprised" if the Giants shop Eli Manning ahead of the trade deadline.
The Giants are moving forward with Daniel Jones as their starter and could try to get some value for Manning. Manning has a no-trade clause in his contract, so it would likely take a quarterback on a winning team going down for him to waive it. There hasn't been any interest to this point, but Manning is a name that could heat up as the trade deadline approaches later this month.

KAREEM HUNTRB, CLEVELAND BROWNS

The Athletic's Jay Glazer expects Kareem Hunt to be used in a change-of-pace role when he returns from suspension.
This falls in line with what's been expected. Nick Chubb is locked in as the starter after averaging 5.1 YPC through four games. Hunt is still five weeks from returning with Cleveland on a Week 7 bye. He isn't a threat to steal the starting job from Chubb, but Hunt could eventually play his way into a high volume change-up role.

Ref's are seeing things that aren't there. Crazy ....

I think we have a PI that is going to get overturned here.

Correction: It wasn't overturned, but the refs are seeing ghosts because the OPI (player in question didn't touch a defense player. If anythingit was the opposite

Jay gruden fired - guess they changed the locks
Kevin O'Connell, the offensive coordinator is one of the up and coming coaches in this league and I wouldn't be surprised to see him as a head coach next season. He may end up as the Skins head coach, although I'm not sure that would be the best decision. Correction...I know that wouldn't be a good decision on his part.

Well, what's the likelyhood he joins his brother in Oakland/Vegas? Wonder who the next poor soul is to get consumed by Dan Snyder in 2020. Snyder usually goes back and fourth, big name Head Coach, then the next big hot shot, back to a big name, etc. Guess he targets a big name head coach.
