This will supposedly run tomorrow in an article in the Washington Post

That entire tweet is a handful and more.

- Washington owner, Dan Snyder abuses both alcohol and drugs.

We know Jim Irsay has alcohol problems too, also the Cardinals front office has been pulled over for DUIs. Not a surprise here.

- Paying off Officials. With some Refs allegedly having made $2 million off Snyder. Also alluding to other owners doing similar things.

Ok this is one that could destroy the NFL and open up the floodgates to their own Tim Donahue situation the NBA went through years ago. $2M in payoffs and their combined record of the past three seasons is 17-31. Apparently they should have been paying the refs much more to you know... win games. If there are other owners involved like this implies, the league is done for, the Refs are done for. I'd really like to hear more about this and how it impacted other teams, playoff pictures, etc.

- Allegedly Snyder and former coach Jay Gruden, brother of Jon Gruden, held their cheerleader’s passports from them in a foreign country in order to force them to solicit themselves to season ticket holders. Snyder also allegedly held nude photo shoots of the Washington cheerleaders.

- Snyder and Gruden allegedly held “sex parties” with rampant drug usage and potentially some sexual assaults.

So not only is this some kind of kidnapping or entrapment on top of sexual assault but damn even season ticket holders too? What kind of sick individuals have the Redskins been giving tickets to? This is disgusting on all levels.

- Source also stated that Jay Gruden and former running back Kapri Bibbs were allegedly at one time sleeping with the same woman. Gruden found out, got angry and benched Bibbs. The next game Bibb’s replacement missed a key block and that resulted in quarterback Alex Smith suffering a broken leg. Smith had had 17 surgeries and hasn't been able to play football since.

You have got to be kidding me, Alex Smith should sue the hell out of Jay Gruden for this BS. The fact Alex Smith may never play football again all because Gruden benched a player who slept with the same woman he did is ridiculous.

Can we disband the Washington team currently and whatever new name they come up with can act as an Expansion Team?

Isn't the preseason in limbo though? And wasn't the schedule flexible enough to where they could move games back if the season was delayed?

this is about training camp which teams are still insisting is opening like next week or whenever - but without protocols put in place seemingly (or guidelines) to spell out how that should be happening - it feels like the NFL are ploughing on without additional procedures or risk assessments in place to protect the players which is wild after 4 months that they dont have multiple versions of procedures ready to go for various different eventualities that were fairly predictable even from a month or 2 ago

As of now, it is looking to be no preseason games at all. NFL wanted two preseason games, NFLPA wanted zero. NFL caved and changed their offer to zero preseason games. If this is the case, they need to look into expanded rosters. I mean expanded rosters should have been done years ago already but even more so now since cuts will have to be made with not much tape to go off.

The new name for the Washington Football Team is......... well just that. This will be a placeholder until a new name is decided upon.

The roster sizes cannot remain at 53 this year. The active roster sizes must be increased to 63 plus 10 practice squad players just to account for the uncertainties of sickness for a group of players... otherwise I can't see how all 16 games can be played by all teams with a complete roster. Sooner or later a bunch of player either get infected or have come into contact with someone infected where the entire lot must quarantine for at least 1 week. With the same roster size it seems untenable. What do you guys think? What should the optimal roster size be for the regular season?
