Unless he’s going to be a RB and their QB of the future that ain’t happening.Le'Veon Bell is apparently asking for $17M a year from the Steelers. Good luck with that one.

I'm proud of Le'Veon tbh. Under no circumstance should he sell himself short. If the market says he's worth $17M, then dammit he's worth it and then some. If the Steelers aren't willing to give him that doe, then to hell with them. #ImwithBellUnless he’s going to be a RB and their QB of the future that ain’t happening.

To be fair, they offered $12M a year last year and he turned it down. I suspect some dumb team will give him that $17M a year and kill their cap on a running back.
People were talking before as racism and police brutality were hardly hidden or ignored issues in the US. Maybe you don’t recognize this because you don’t live here. And the protest did nothing positive to widen those discussions nor did it help in moving towards a solution which should be the intent.because those things already happen and are roundly ignored by national media - you can disagree all you want with the platform but to say that the players are unjustified in using their platform when it has literally opened a national discussion (probably international) about racism and police violence is ludicrous
it was quite clearly an effective protest
and the subsequent protests werent about police violence anyway - nor were they about the anthem - they were about the rights of the players to be autonomous and be allowed to demonstrate and not be victimised for demonstrating - it was about solidarity against criticism from the POTUS...
let's not forget that whole teams only started kneeling after Trump went after the players...
and the fact that the NFL just put in place a rule and the fact that we are still talking about this completely legitimises the players' reasoning for protesting the anthem - because it gets people talking

As mentioned before, it’s time for positive actions from everyone to help effect change not misguided protests that have only served to create more issues.
Dez is asking 1 year deal for too much money.Seahawks have signed WR Brandon Marshall to a one year contract worth up to $2M based on incentives. Now how bad is Dez if the Seahawks are willing to pass on him for Marshall. Let alone signing Marshall over Maclin, or Decker.
Interesting decision. He’s probably hanging out with Donavan McNabbTerrell Owens is such a punk.
