Around the NFL: News and Rumors

Andy Dalton out for the rest of the year

that leaves Jeff Driskel as the starter and TOM SAVAGE as the backup...
the bengals aint winning another game

Darren Waller - TE - Raiders

Raiders signed TE Darren Waller off the Ravens' practice squad.

A converted receiver, Waller could not make the Ravens' 53-man roster out of training camp after being suspended all of 2017. Waller is a decent upside shot for the rebuilding Raiders.
I guess Gruden might be interested in new dealers

Fournette suspended 1 game for conduct at BUF

NFL suspended RB Leonard Fournette one game for violating the league's unsportsmanlike conduct and unnecessary roughness policy.

Fournette was initially expected to avoid a ban, but the league is cracking down on him after he came off the sideline to attack Shaq Lawson, throwing punches. Fournette and Lawson continued to fight into the tunnel following their ejections. Fournette will almost certainly appeal this, but for now he's going to miss the home game against the Colts. In his absence, Carlos Hyde and T.J. Yeldon would handle backfield duties. Yeldon is the preferred play in all formats.

We need the Jags to beat the Colts. The timing on this sucks!

Wow, there is a team desperate enough to do this. Any guesses?

Reuben Foster - LB - Free Agent

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports ex-49ers LB Reuben Foster has been claimed off waivers.

Schefter initially reported the Browns were the claiming team but quickly apologized for jumping the gun. He has been claimed, however, which is a frankly shocking development. We should know by whom shortly.

Are the Cowboys still okay with having criminals play for them?

Well the good thing is it ain't us. What a PR nightmare that would be.

goddammit - how is reuben foster getting claimed on waivers but kaep still cant even get a backup job anywhere?

do the owners and GMs legitimately not care about the league's reputation

this comes literally like a day after the league announced all the money they would be putting into player led community initiatives including domestic violence stuff... how can they have any sense of integrity when they continuously reward players with money (reuben foster's 1st round pick contract gets picked up so he loses nothing except whatever game checks he loses for a suspension)
