Signings, Cuts, Trades

With every passing G deal
think simpson's deal is aging well

not who i would have wanted but edwards getting 15m/yr, zion johnson getting nearly 17m/yr and idk that zion johnson is close to being 7m/yr better than john simpson

Today shows that it's in your best interest to not sign before FA. Guys that are signing today are getting a lot more money than guys that signed in the last few days.

Well we’ve also seen guys come back with their tails between their legs cause they don’t get what they thought the would

But in most of those cases, the offer they passed up still exists. They just thought they'd get more. I can confirm Likely got very minimally over the offer we gave him originally.

Ravens were at $21M. Raiders were at $24M at the time. Linderbaum was willing to forgo that money. Raiders stepped it up late last night and the Ravens had a chance to bridge the gap this morning and opted not to.
Makes me wonder why there's even a legal tampering window if the Ravens were fighting against the Raiders from the weekend, or potentially even before.

Man...

I love the Maxx Crosby move in a vacuum, but I'm really wondering if the Ravens were in a spot to give up two firsts and eat that cap space.

We won’t know until 2 years in the future if Crosby was the right move.

But what I will say is losing Linderbaum hurts. The other guys should be replaceable. Quality over quantity.

It's the most known thing but the NFL turns a blind eye unless it's egregious like Saquon. Players know what money is out there for weeks leading up to FA. The combine is the place where real numbers get thrown out.

Kind of crazy we haven't heard anything related to the teams who are chasing Trey Hendrickson. I thought for sure he would have gotten a deal by now.
