Harbs said in his presser either today (or yesterday - time kind of melds together for me at the moment) - that it was possible that Kearse gets activated to play special teams and maybe even some defence this week

Yeah I'd guess they're trying to get him back to the PS though. The deadline to either activate him or keep him on IR for the season was coming up tomorrow I believe. So by activating and cutting him, he's still eligible to play this season if he re-signs to the PS, rather than keeping him on IR. Would even think with timing, they're banking on no one claiming him with it being the last week of the season.

Just a note... I really hope the Ravens are smart and add a K and/or P to the PS once Koch returns. I've been curious why they hadn't done that all year, and they got lucky that the rules were amended that Townsend didn't have a 6 day wait to get onto the roster. Don't want to see us in a situation where Tucker has to miss a game and we have no one for a playoff run. We've kept Nick Moore all year for that reason... time to do the same with the other specialist positions.

if you as a number 1 wr want to consider the ravens as a destination you have to understand that you just arent going to have the statistics you pick up anywhere else - you'll still get the plaudits and the reputation of the media but you won't statistically match up to your peers and so you might miss out on pro bowls and all-pros and career stats etc.

if you're fine with that then by all means come here and be a game-changing acquisition because you'll be welcomed with open arms

but hard to see some of these guys making that evaluation and doing it unless it's for the best possible money (which we will not be doing for a FA WR)

Yeah you pretty much come here for a shot at a super bowl and nothing more if you’re a wr, I think guys like willie and dez need to get on their recruiting game this offseason, they seem like the types lol, passionate veterans who know the game of football, explain that you’ll be happy here even without the stats

Problem is there is like 4 WRs in the league that dont care about stats and we have 3 of them on the roster already.
