From my perspective, I'm seeing a pretty stark drop-off in LG play and I'm more confident in finding a guy who can at least be solid in the C position then relying on any of the Gs to come back. I mean you did allude to it but the scheme is why he pulls so much, especially considering how much Greg roman loves pulling guards.
Also, in all honesty, C is never a position the Ravens have trouble with finding. Zuttah was a guy who they traded for and he caught way more flack than needed, I don't think he was as bad as the fanbase made him out to be outside of his final year. Jensen was a nice find and Skura played really well in 2019 and only saw his value tank, I think the team is capable of finding a C and didn't get to address that position last year given the needs, I think EDC alluded to that and pretty much left it to internal options at that point, I don't blame him because I certainly wouldn't make a move there if Bozeman is capable of playing the position. Outside of Gino Gradkowski it's never been too much of a problem.
If Colon is capable of stepping up or guy who falls into their lap in the 2nd or 3rd is there then I don't see a problem with pulling the trigger even if they keep Bozeman. As far as his contract goes I think I might have mixed myself up. He's predicted to come in at 9.5M, I wouldn't be surprised if he hits that number but he should easily get more, at 10M+ I'd definitely let him walk.
