To be fair, I think that's the best offer we could have got for Hurst. Nobody else would have gave up a second like the Falcons did.

i dont think so - having 28, 47 and 60 is pretty great - id like us to get 3 impact players at those 3 picks

it also means we can focus on BPA even more than we usually would because we have so many picks on day 2

sounds like we were actively shopping hurst - possible that we just dont think his role in the offence was going to be worth more than a 2nd round pick - not a bad return on a 1st round TE who's not done a huge amount

we technically lose a tiny bit of cap space in this trade but its small enough that its basically a wash

the 5th rounder we just got i think is now going to the jags for calais campbell in stead of the other 5th we had (probably some terminology in the calais trade about taking the highest pick possible in the 5th)

good question - i assumed 47 because schefter said falcons 2nd round pick but you're right it could be 55
