speaking for myself, this is why this board helps. Although I watch film, I like to hear the opinions of others on the board that may see something differently or watch more film.
I tend to have a guy early on that I like, yet those opinions start to take shape and even change closer to the draft. My top WR early in the draft process was a wideout that came from a school I had been jaded, due to their lack of success in the NFL. That player was DK Metcalf. I also didn't want A.J. Brown for two reasons. I thought he would only be a big slot and due to the school he attended, I was having my own issues. I believe
@JoeyFlex5 had the same issues with Ole Miss WR's, if I'm not mistaken. I liked Deebo Samuel a lot, but he had some major hamstring issues in college those just seem to linger.
It was within a couple weeks of the draft where I started to come into focus. I had totally changed my viewpoint. I wanted the Ravens to draft Hollywood or A.J. Brown in the 1st round and my 3rd favorite was D.K. Metcalf with Deebo Samuel right behind him. After watching more tape of A.J., I could see he wasn't just going to be a big slot. I was actually very excited about the prospects of drafting him in the late 1st round.
Well all of these players have been successful. What many don't mention is that Hollywood is top 15 in touchdowns since 2019 and that is with limited targets and one foot in 2019.
